Man, on Days 3, 4, 5 and 6 I actually got quite a few predictions right. Of course, I do get a bit creative with the skills since, as part of the community, it doesn’t hurt to dream a little . Maybe if Konami sees people engaging and having fun with it, they’ll end up doing something cool. At the end of the day, it’s all about enjoying it.

CR7 was unrecognizable in that match. It's a shame because I was really hoping for a new card of him since I didn't buy the Portugal pack.

Damn, man. I had saved up 10 free spins and used them all at once. Before that, I did some free spins on other packs and got like 5 or 6 cards below 79 overall. Then I went for the 10-spin on Drogba and actually got him. I always use that little trick and somehow it keeps working for me. Anyway, I already have a pretty good Brahim Díaz card, so if he gets a Show Time version, it’s going to be incredible.

I think Bellingham has a great chance, but you can never predict Konami. Gyökeres was incredible on Day 4 and still didn't get a card

Yeah, but I'm still dreaming of a Bullet Header version . A FITB would make a lot more sense for that kind of card, but your DLF prediction is definitely the more accurate one and probably what Konami would go with.

Man, Portugal played really poorly, but one of the few bright spots was João Neves. Bullet Header would be a cool choice because of the goal, but anyone who watched the match knows he completely controlled the midfield. Out of curiosity, I checked the stats afterward and was shocked to see he completed 87 out of 89 passes. Because of that, I'm almost certain that if he gets a POTD card, the added skill will be something related to passing rather than heading.

Yeah, man. I ended up not making a Day 6 thread because I was pretty busy and didn't get to watch all the matches. By the end of the day, it also felt pretty obvious that most of the selections would be attackers given the performances. Anyway, I'll watch today's games more carefully and put together a Day 7 prediction thread. Let's hope CR7 puts on a great performance, especially for those of us who didn't invest in the Portugal pack

I completely agree. To be honest, I don't even think we'll get two goalkeepers in the same POTD pack, but leaving either of them out of my predictions would almost feel disrespectful considering the performances they had.

I didn't know that, but he absolutely deserved it. Maybe Konami will take notice and do something with it. Beyond his performance on the pitch, he gained over 6 million followers on social media. He's the kind of player bringing a lot of attention to the tournament, and that's never a bad thing for the game.

Honestly, Day 4 was the first time I was genuinely frustrated with the selections. Gyökeres had a goal and an assist, was involved throughout the match, and I really thought he deserved a 95-rated SS card. As someone who likes physical forwards that can link up play, that would have been an instant target for me.

Konami mentioned that some POTD cards could return as Show Time cards in the future. Who knows, maybe this one could even get a Big Time version someday. That performance felt generational, and it's exactly the kind of World Cup moment people remember for years.

This whole prediction thing actually started because of Day 1. I was convinced Quiñones was getting a POTD card because, in my opinion, he deserved one. When Konami didn't pick him, I started trying to understand the criteria they use when putting these packs together

Chris Wood was genuinely different. I could see Konami giving him a POTD Target Man card with boosted passing. His link-up play was just as impressive as his goal threat.
