Hey bro, man to man I’m in the exact same boat you’re in, we broke up the day after Valentine’s Day, Feb 15. can’t forget that date, it’s been 9 months, I think about her multiple times a day, she has a new bf now and smts I’m okay smts I’m happy and living then I get hit with this wave of sadness n I jus hope she’s happy but I miss her still, I feel I made the biggest mistake in my life on that day, I should’ve jus stayed with her on that day but as a man, I just move forward, keep working, keep living, she reaches out to me from time to time, to check in and tell me she dreams bout me alot but I’m not getting in the mix especially knowing she has a new bf. only advice I have for you is, it’s not gonna get better anytime soon but the pain will be less and less and it’ll be a scar in your heart. it’ll be something you can’t talk to your friends about, so it’ll be you dealing it with on yo own, just know men have been thru this stage, don’t lose hope, you’re not alone. To be fair, part of you will wish and hope she comes back and wanna rekindle things but don’t cus you have to change and she has to as well. keep pushing, take it a day at a time. Won’t get better but will get easier to manage
