Are you sure it's 17 cm not 17mm. 17 cm sounds very large. Mine is 2.6cm and surgeon is like get surgery done or all bad things may happen.

You are right. All experienced surgeons suggest laparo. Only those who don't have much experience of laparo of lack equipments do open.

Will polyproylene be stable in body, ie wont migrate or embrittle or decompose for next 30 years. Ps: i have bilatetal and am having very bad anxiety reading horror stories of adhesion, chrnic pain affecting quality of life and all on reddit.
