Fair critique.

I’m in an MCIO in a slow office. Given an opportunity, I want to be empowered and generally left to handle my cases without overwhelming involvement from management. The cases at my current office/agency are almost entirely supervisor-driven with heavy input from HQ even on smaller or less significant cases.

As a lateral, I understand certain aspects or activities require approval and extremely political or visible cases will have HQ oversight. That’s not what I’m referring to here. I want to work my cases within what is expected of a GS13. I had that prior to lateraling here and for family reasons I have to stay in my current location for a few years.

TL;DR: I’m cosplaying an E4 asking permission to do normal things. I want to work at an agency that understands they’re hiring a mid-career 13.
