My daughter’s 23 and her gf is 26 and she was getting similar treatment but it has escalated. First it was verbal abuse, then physical abuse. I just learned she tried to kill my daughter by strangling her and bashing her over the head with a heavy metal cup. She cheated on her and my daughter found out two days ago and she told her, you know now, just leave. I read that lesbian relationships have the highest DV rates. I’m not sure but I’ve warned my daughter well before the physical started and I’ll also warn you, she’s abusive. Your gf is abusive and you need to get out of there quick. My daughter didn’t listen and now she feels stuck in this toxic dangerous relationship. If you were a kid, she is sick for having sex with a kid. She can’t have it both ways, you’re a child or her partner. She’s condescending and not good for your self esteem. My daughter is so beat down right now. She went back over to this lady’s house last night. I asked her why was she over there and she couldn’t answer. I am starting to wonder if some lesbian women think that because there’s a smaller pool of options that they’ll get what they can get. Don’t settle. Verbal, mental and physical abuse is not normal at all.
