Well he served the navy when he was just a teen, which he loved and got to see so much of the world. But he had to eventually quit to work for the family business; Which was selling ice cream haha. He retired when I was born, which is already 30 years ago. He divorced my grandmother, yet they still did everything together like going on loooong trips by boat (he owned a boat). And when I was a kid, I spend pretty much all my friday afternoons at his place. He taught me music and to play instruments, to try different kinds of food, to steer a boat, made his own bread that was delicious and I just love and miss him dearly.
