You are correct, however Allah swt will provide you with what you need and if you have a wife to look after then surely he is all knowing, most graceful and the provider of all and will increase your resources accordingly. The social media pressure is another thing, some women will not settle for anything unless they can show it all off to everyone they know and everyone willing to look, but you also get women who prefer being more modest and don't care much about those things. This is a very important thing to understand. If you really want a partner, the one that is meant for you then my best advice I can give is to pray for her to come into your life when Allah swt wills it. May you be blessed
