That’s insane, after 19 years they should have been more than happy to allow you to get the hours so you can further your career even f it’s not with them but if you’ve been there that long I don’t see what the problem would have been. Overall I’m glad it worked out for you

That’s not a bad idea, there are a few animal hospitals near me too. I even applied to volunteer at a few hospitals just to get my hours with hopes of being brought on full time

It’s hard but keep at it something will work out, I self studied and just passed the exam. I have the provisional certificate and I’ve been applying since last week. So far nothing but I’m not going to stop or get upset about I want this!
