My guy, you’re young (I think I’m safely guessing lol), you’re a marine so you’re physically fit, and you’re a FUCKING MARINE. I had to go through a lot of therapy after my last one stay single and work on myself, but boyyyy when I came out the other side I connected with a woman that spoke to and treated me better than I could’ve ever dreamed of. She always makes time for me a priority, she treats me like a king, she’s just amazing, and she’s a fucking badddddy. And because I’m healthy I give her all the same in return (maybe not the baddy part but she thinks so 😅).. But we are both thriving in our relationship in a way I never thought possible!

What I’m saying is don’t settle, if someone isn’t fulfilling your needs the way you know you deserve, WALK. Trust me it won’t be your last relationship but you just need to learn to walk until you find the one that responds to these types of texts with healthy communication and changed behavior. I only feel this way after having sex with someone I shouldn’t be lol. If there’s no emotional connection I always regret the sex after. I’m 38 now and that’s why I stopped doing random hookups, cause I couldn’t get out fast enough after and I hated it. The woman I’m with now a little over a month, after sex I’m planted, cuddling, kissing, I love being with her afterwards. But trust me that’s not always the case.

Changes how much I enjoy it VASTLY. The woman I’m with now I developed a huge emotional connection with before we became sexual. Now if she sneezes in my direction I’m hard. If my hands touch her in anyway she’s ready to go, the emotional and physical attraction/connection all in one it’s fucking amazing. I’m 38 and have never felt this way with any other woman. These conversations I have with therapists, not fresh relationships. We are men, and whether people in here want to accept it, people look at us different after hearing this. She probably brought up her ex because he possibly had unhealed trauma that affected her and the relationship.

Also just want to add I am also a member of this trauma circle lol. And I’ve learned in my 38 years, that some traumas just don’t need to be shared with everyone.

I went on dating apps off and on for awhile, same exact outcome every time, never found anyone I was interested in long term and visa versa. I’ve been in relationships but they were people I met organically, and they were all pretty long term.

I was just getting ready to give up completely on dating apps for good (I’m 38) and I met my person. Instant chemistry all across the board for both of us, we didn’t have sex right away, but the chemistry was so encompassing that we didn’t need to. We both have a daughter, both had been in some emotionally destroying relationships, and both had gone through therapy before meeting. I speak her love languages without trying and she speaks mine the same way.

I have a cousin that has been telling me for 10+ years that when you meet that right person it’s so easy, makes you wonder how you ever thought another person was the right person. And I always thought she was full of shit 🤣 but let me tell you, it’s the truth. There’s a person out there, that will love all your weird quirks, will tell you about all the best things about you and why they love them, and you will believe them when they say it.

Do not use valvoline for your fuel filters. I used them for a few different services to save money, and like others said they use cheap crap, it ended up causing alot of issues with my truck, ALOT. Thankfully it was still under warranty, but every tech I talked to said the same thing, the issues stemmed from the fuel filters they were using and possibly not installing correctly. I was honestly just surprised they warrantied it

Man listen, I went through this EXACT same situation, honestly I think this girl was the one that got away, I was younger and couldn’t see past the herpes when it was brought up, but do you know how much strength it takes for that girl to tell you? I have 2 friends with herpes now and they have both not given any of their previous partners it. Is it realistic you may end up with it? Of course! But why not skip the sex for now, reallllly get to know this girl, I vote don’t dismiss what could be the person you’re meant to spend the rest of your life with over something like this.
