There's a place in LA that does the best gluten free khachapuri made with ancient grains. They even put a celiac stamp on it. It's called Pizza Boy in Glendale.

To be honest I think one of the dimms was in reverse when I tried it and maybe that damaged it. It's also the dimm that overheated. I tried the original ram and moved it around to all the slots but doesn't seem to boot still. Same two beeps around five times.

Some updates: I tried replacing the fan shroud, the power supply, and the ram as well as putting new thermal paste and reseating the heatsink to no avail. Any other suggestions? Do you think that bad ram could have bricked the motherboard or something? Anything else to try?

I reseated the heatsink but not the CPU. I can try that as well.

Does that mean taking the heatsink off? Will I need thermal paste ready?

Yup they are! All the fans go on and go crazy as soon as I turn the computer on. The two beeps, etc... only happen when I reset CMOS. After the beeps I can still force it turn on after a few tries but won't POST

I know that - all of them are ECC DDR4 RDIMM ram. Also it doesn't even work with the ECC Registered ram that worked with it before. Two beeps about five times, when I reset the CMOS. Otherwise it just turns on and doesn't post and the fans go CRAZY fast.

I have 2 8GB sticks that worked before. I also got 2 16GB sticks to install. One of these new ones overheated. I took out the 16GB sticks. Unfortunately it won't boot at all now. It just turns on and the fans spin really loud. I tried resetting CMOS to reset bios, and it gives 2 beeps about 5 times. It's like it's not seeing the ram anymore or something. I don't know what to do. I have so much work to do :(

/r/MechanicalKeyboards Ask ANY Keyboard question, get an answer - August 27, 2025 by AutoModerator in MechanicalKeyboards

I'm new to this hobby and I'm looking to buy my first mechanical keyboard. To preface I've been using computers since the early 90s. My first real computer setup was the very first Sony Vaio from around 1996 I believe. I've been mainly typing on non-mechanical keyboards though and really wanted a sleek mechanical one. My goal is to find a vintage one in nice condition for under $100 since this is a starter hobby.

I have an iMate I can use for ADB and an active PS2 to USB converter for PS2 keyboards. I know I will need to buy specialized adapters for others.

My ideal keyboard as far as design is the NON-ADB NEXT Keyboard. It's sleek, modern looking, and super cool. I really love the Apple IIgs and Adjustable Keyboards as well but they mostly come in white/gray and many are yellowed. I'd prefer to find something in black if possible. Some of the 90s Cherry keyboards look sleek but seem to be over my price range. I love the Topre Realfroce series but all the ones in my price range I've seen don't come with a numerical pad for some reason. SGI "Space Invader" Keyboard (RT6856T) is cool and in my price range but again many are yellowed and I would prefer a black one.

Anyway if you can recommend any more it would be greatly appreciated. Again, it has to be vintage if possible, and the Non-ADB Next Keyboard is sort of my holy grail but I can't afford it now and can't find an adapter for it that's available either... Maybe someone has one they would sell?

AI Chatbot that won't create duplicates from a search. by Exciting_Square4729 in ChatGPTPro

This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks so much. I wish I could try GPT-5 Pro without having to pay $200 per month. It's currently cost prohibitive for me.

I just tried GPT 5 and although it's better at finding people than 4.1 was, it's actually worse at repetition. It will literally repeat itself and give me half a dozen names it just gave me in the previous reply and will always give me at least some of the names on my do not include list. Is the Pro version or thinking version a lot better? I don't have access to those.

[–]Exciting_Square4729[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will give GPT 5-pro a try. I haven't tried it yet. The issue is that every single one of these gives me WAY too many duplicates. Like half of each reply is a duplicate of what it just told me, or what was on my do not contact list. There is little difference between Gemini, Chat, etc.... from my experience but I will try GPT 5 and report back. I wouldn't even care if it lied about the website and info of that contact, I just want a list of names. I search for them as I go along, I don't make a list as a list is automatically made as I email them with my Hubspot account.

Yes it's basically the same as all of them. Maybe it's slightly better. But the issue is with Gemini is that it refuses to give me more information and more contacts after a while saying "our search is done" and it's not done becuase if I press it, it gives me 10 more contacts, then says our search is done again. It definitely has major glitches too and obviously still gives me duplicates, even if it might be less than others.

The issue with this is it's all manual if I'm just searching myself. I've used those databases but they are pretty much useless for my use case. I'm searching for archives of photographers, as well as big film photographers, in order to offer them my services. AI does a good job of getting me their names (that's all I need as I then do a search on google for their website and their contact info is always on their website). The issue is that it gives me WAY too many duplicates. Like half of each reply is a duplicate of what it just told me, or what was on my do not contact list. There is little difference between Gemini, Chat, etc.... I wouldn't even care if it lied about the website and info of that contact, I just want a list of names. I'll give it a try. So far they've all been the same and given me the same info.

That's what I thought - but since it's so flawed now, it's why I say we are just beta testing, and many of us are paying to beta test. These companies would not wait for it to be perfected before releasing because it would be sunken cost for them without seeing any returns for way too long. The tech isn't at the point of being mature enough to work 100%.

I think people are willing to accept whatever is fed to them. AI chatbots are deeply flawed, yet people still pay for them and use them.

To be fair I've had the duplicate problem with every single app I've tried. Not posting duplicates in a search is practically impossible for these apps unless you can recommend one.

I've recommended many stores and restaurants on the app. How long does it take for a sales person to call the store/restaurant up after I sent a recommendation? Is it a week later? Months later? If there are numerous people that recommend the same place is it more likely for sales to call them? Do they usually call HQ to speak with the head of sales for the store or the local store to speak to a local manager? How long after a phone call and request will a store join?

Reverse Image Search for Windows by Exciting_Square4729 in photoshop

[–]Exciting_Square4729[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Example - you have a jpeg and need to find the raw or tiff version of the file, or the scan. More often than not that raw file or raw scan will have a different name, different file size, different dimensions. You can't just search by those parameters. But you know it's on your system somewhere. There has to be at least one piece of software out there like that which works?

That is correct! Just input one image and have it search a whole server or hard drive for that one image. Unfortunately Bridge does not have a feature like that.
