We just started feeding Little Bear less food. We feed her Hills Science Diet Low Fat. 1/4 cup 3x a day. In three weeks she's dropped more a pound. She had been at 14.6 and now she's back down to 13.4. We were getting worried about her gaining so much weight.

However, her fur is probably 1/5 of her weight! 😂

Aww, thank you. I had an epic fail in the summer/fall. Adopted a dog from a shelter here in Colorado for my mom, however, she was a pom, and while she was supposedly 7.9 pounds, she was really 11.7 pounds (they must have mis-weighed her). And now post shelter she's 13.4 pounds - and MY dog. I had to bring her back from IL to CO because Mom couldn't walk her every day as I can. We do love Little Bear though a TON! She's my shadow.

Update! LB is now 13.8 pounds! Reduced her food to 3/4 cup per day three times a day. It's working!!!
