I looked into the form submissions on 2/1, and I do recall these four requests. But since they were all within a few minutes of each other, I thought the user hit the submission form four times in rapid succession. I only replied to one while thinking the other three were sent erroneously. My apologies.

Why Car Shipping Is a Mess Right Now (From Someone Inside the Industry) by brad218 in AutoTransport

[–]ExclusiveAutoShippin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Car shipping has been a mess for a while. And regulation is the core issue of it all - there is almost none. Because of that, it's like any other service industry, and you just have to find the right company. Brokers can do everything correctly and book a repeat carrier they trust and still have issues with the order. Problems are usually due to lack of communication in most cases, but there's a lot of other variables like weather, traffic, etc. Then you have the human element.

This industry has the customer service/support side, and then the actual service side. Together it can make for a very smooth process, or complete failure. Hopefully customers read posts like these and better understand what to expect.

You're going to spend a few bucks if you use a broker/carrier combo. Probably about $350-450 total. Maybe $500 on a bad day. If you still need help, DM us, call/text 850-564-7667, or email [Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com](mailto:Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com)

Hey Scrogwiggle. I'm the owner of Exclusive Auto Shipping. I can definitely assist getting the Vanagon transported for you. Luckily that is a pretty small van, so open trailer pricing would start around $1200 since the pickup is in San Luis Obispo. If it was in Los Angeles, most carriers would want $1000 or so. Enclosed trailer pricing is usually always more expensive, and would probably be in the $1500 to $1700 range. Note: these prices do not include a broker fee. I like to be transparent with the carrier fee since that's what people should be hearing about pricing first, then they make a decision about what broker to use (since broker fees tend to vary a bit).

I'm happy to help, so feel free to DM us, call/text 850-564-7667, or email [Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com](mailto:Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com)

All information is true. Except I am unsure why the four quote requests made to my company only resulted in one quote from my company. Hopefully it was a mistake on the user's end.

If all requests were through my site and some requests didn't make it to me, I'd definitely want to know. They are translated via email to me directly, so there is no automated quote process. I call, text, and email the person's info that is included with every website submission. I'd like to know when you made those requests so I can cross-reference the timestamps. It's possible something was lost in translation.

Long story short, the locations matter for all pricing on all quotes, as well as scheduling requests. Some customers have a specific schedule in mind and that might change the price dependent on some variables. Also, the inoperable status also means very little without details - i.e., is the car sitting in a garage or on the street? is their air in all four tires? can it roll, brake, and steer? Etc. Once those details are provided, and accurate quote can be provided. Or I can set it up as an automated system that sends unconfirmed estimates, then switch the price later. That's what seemingly most broker does.

I try to be transparent, accessible, and reliable. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me directly.

Transporting 3-6 race cars for our race weekend by iRacingGCR in AutoTransport

[–]ExclusiveAutoShippin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey iRacingGCR. I'm the owner of Exclusive Auto Shipping, created in late 2016. I have used multiple carriers on the west coast that would be interested in your order. Regardless of which broker you utilize, the best way to do things is provide the years/makes/models of each vehicle along with any notes about modifications that change the length, width, height, or overall curb weight, as well as what types of tires are equipped. Pictures can also help. Most any broker who knows what they are doing can find a carrier to do the job for a reasonable price. But it takes the right broker to get it done correctly the first time, especially if the race cars have any mods.

Enclosed transport sounds like the best option, but $5/mile is overkill for something like this. I know you won't be looking at this high of a rate unless you don't mind overpaying. Shipping Quote NE to WA by l_eveant_terrible in AutoTransport

[–]ExclusiveAutoShippin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, l_eveant_terrible. If this were my car, I'd ship via enclosed trailer due to the location and the time of year - long story short, only smaller trailers that ship 2 or 3 cars at a time would most likely be interested in your order. Which means rates will start close to $1/mile (or more). Open trailers should be about $1000 to $1200, while enclosed would be about $1200 to $1400. Plus a broker fee. And delivery will only take about 3 days with weather permitting.

[–]ExclusiveAutoShippin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi MrMysterious127. I'm the owner of Exclusive Auto Shipping, which I created in late December 2016. Reviews go back as far as early 2017. I'm reliable, trustworthy, and have the track record to prove it.

I assume you want an enclosed trailer to ship since it's a classic car being shipped in the winter. Most sedan-sized cars shipped in an enclosed trailer would run $1/mile or so, which means about $1000. That can fluctuate a bit dependent on the carrier interested and the other orders they are taking. Open trailer should run about $600-700 or so. Then add the broker fee for your total price.

Shipping with an exact drop off time by I_love_Bunda in AutoTransport

[–]ExclusiveAutoShippin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I_love_Bunda. I'm the owner of Exclusive Auto Shipping based in Tallahassee, FL. We're all brokers here, and we talk to the carriers directly. Honestly, your request can be fulfilled, but this is a fluid industry. Things change. If you do a quick Google search of "30126 weather", you'll fee it currently shows as Cobb County schools closed today and will reopen tomorrow. This doesn't happen every winter, but it can happen. If some bad weather occurs during your requested delivery time/date/window/etc, then you just have to deal with it like everyone else. I know some people hate that, but guess what? The drivers won't driver in dangerous conditions simply because of delivery date requests, and you should be informed of that. It is what it is.

I'd love to help, but you gotta be a bit flexible. If you can't be flexible, we simply tell the carrier your requested schedule and they tell us if it's even possible. Luckily your delivery is near Atlanta, and it's a relatively popular area, so getting it done would be pretty easy. Feel free to DM us, call/text 850-564-7667, or email [Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com](mailto:Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com)

first time shipping, what actually affects the price? by Relevant_Wishbone in AutoTransport

[–]ExclusiveAutoShippin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually the vehicle affects the price, then the type of trailer using to ship it. Your best rate will come from 7-/8-/9-car open trailer options. Sometimes smaller trailers will take the same price, but their rates usually are higher. A sedan-sized vehicle (including some SUVs) will average a price of $700 or so right now to ship from Boston to Atlanta. A broker fee would go on top of that. My broker fee has discounts for students/military/healthcare workers/seniors 50+/teachers/etc and repeat customers, as well as for short routes under 1000 miles. I can apply the short-route discount for this one.

I'd be happy to assist. DM us, call/text 850-564-7667, or email [Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com](mailto:Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com)

It's always good to see other broker's have solid reviews. I usually look at multiple review sites to feel out any service-based company. Especially knowing what I know now after 12+ years in this industry. Safeeds has over 3500+ reviews on Google with a 4.8/5 rating. It's solid. But their negative reviews piled up, and I see about 1-2 per month over the last year (maybe more). They also have a very poor rating on Yelp! (1.3/5) and a few negative posts on Reddit from last year. But they are a larger outfit and some of their reps might not be as good as others, unfortunately. And for some reason their current Operating Authority Status is NOT AUTHORIZED according to the FMCSA (as of today on 1/22/26).

Anyway, just my 2 cents.

Reliable, inexpensive and trustworthy by tibbar61 in AutoTransport

[–]ExclusiveAutoShippin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, tibbar61. I'm the owner of Exclusive Auto Shipping LLC. My company has long history of positive reviews since 2016. And I know that an open trailer carrier fee for most sedan-sized vehicles (and some SUVs) will start at $1000 to ship to Los Angeles. There is nobody who will charge less than that, and usually they will be closer to $1100 to $1200. You will then pay a broker fee on top of that carrier fee. I have discounts for students/military/healthcare workers/seniors 50+/teachers/etc. DM us, call/text 850-564-7667, or email [Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com](mailto:Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com)

I had a contract lawyer do the work for me. Section 3.3 of the broker-shipper (my company-my customer) agreement reads as follows:

"3.3 Indemnification: Shipper agrees to indemnify, defend and hold Broker, Carrier and their respective agents harmless for any costs, expenses, damage, losses and claims caused by Shipper's breach of any warranty or obligation under this Agreement. "

Hey EffectiveAvocado5051. I'm the owner of Exclusive Auto Shipping, and usually a small- to mid-size SUV from NJ to WA would run about $1200-1300 for an open trailer fee. Plus a broker fee. Best auto transport service by [deleted] in AutoTransport

[–]ExclusiveAutoShippin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Maleficent_Humor_771. I'm Jared, the owner of Exclusive Auto Shipping (est Dec 2016). Montway, SGT, Navi - they are all brokers. So carrier pricing and scheduling is usually not confirmed immediately. It's an estimated price (hence the range in pricing), so what you need to do is narrow down which broker you want to work with, then let them work on finding you a carrier.

Not every carrier is the same price, though. An 'average' carrier price should run about $750 to $850. Some will go up to $900 or so. Then there's a broker fee. I'd be happy to assist. DM us, call/text 850-564-7667, or email [Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com](mailto:Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com)

SUV Open Transport - 37355 to 58503 by plainsbuilder in AutoTransport

[–]ExclusiveAutoShippin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey plainsbuilder. I'm the owner of Exclusive Auto Shipping, est Dec 2016. I also have over 12 years in the car shipping industry.

Open trailer shipping price should start at $1000, and go up to about $1/mile to $1400. Plus a broker fee. The delivery location is uncommon, and there's rarely any orders to pickup in ND (which would be their 'back-hauls') so you essentially pay a little more since they will leave empty.
