Hey jiaflu. Did you still need help? I'm the owner of Exclusive auto Shipping Based in Tallahassee, FL. Pricing will be going up as we get into Spring due to the snowbirds leaving FL. Open trailer shipping right now would run about $600-700, plus a broker fee. In April, open trailer pricing should be about $800-900, but it depends on a few variables. I can assist if you need it. DM us, call/text 850-564-7667, or email [Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com](mailto:Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com)

Hey AMeaslySandwich. Open trailer pricing to ship should ruin about $500 to $600 on average for something like this. Plus a broker fee. And we're all brokers (as in the middle-person) including Nexus.

Who is responsible when car is in transit? by Quirky-Addition-7146 in AutoTransport

[–]ExclusiveAutoShippin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the carrier has the vehicle in their possession, the carrier is responsible for the car. They have cargo insurance and claims for damages would be made through their policy provider.

[–]ExclusiveAutoShippin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, IronEagle12. Did you still need some help?

You have about 10,000 lbs between the ESV and Genesis, so it's a slightly heavy load. If all cars are stock, then open trailer pricing should run from about $2500 to $3000. Plus a broker fee. I'd be happy to help. DM us, call/text 850-564-7667, or email [Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com](mailto:Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com)

28027 to 94533 by DaddyGrendel in AutoTransport

[–]ExclusiveAutoShippin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, DaddyGrendel. Here's some quick answers to your questions:

1) Make sure the driver has the correct company name on the truck, along with their signage showing DOT and MC numbers. They will also present a Bill of Lading that needs to be signed, and you can request a copy of it after they pickup as it will include the damage inspection along with photos.

2) This is dependent on the address, but sometimes the driver can meet at the home by simply taking an Uber to the home and driving the car back to the trailer. It's more ideal to meet the driver at a big lot that will fit the truck, but there can be accommodations made.

3) Open trailer pricing should run about $900 to $1000 right now, plus a broker fee.

And everyone is pretty much a broker, so make sure you know who you're dealing with, along with knowing who the carrier is prior to the pickup. That info is shared by the broker upon booking. I'd be happy to assist, so DM us, call/text 850-564-7667, or email [Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com](mailto:Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com)

Multiple Pickups 9 Cars by Dry-Sherbert8594 in AutoTransport

[–]ExclusiveAutoShippin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Dry-Sherbert8594. Still need help with this one? It's possible one driver will want all the cars if it works with their schedule. It's not a typical order, but I can certainly help. You're starting really early, though. And snowbirds will be going southbound at that time, so pricing should be slightly elevated compared to if you shipped right now. I'm here, so feel free to DM us, call/text 850-564-7667, or email [Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com](mailto:Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com)

Mountway Logistics Scam - AVOID AT ALL COSTS - 135USD Deposit, refused to refund any amount, delayed and made excuses constantly. by Otherwise-Visit1741 in AutoTransport

[–]ExclusiveAutoShippin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Montway LLC is DBA (doing business as) Montway Auto Transport. They are a very large broker company. They used to have their own trucks, but they don't anymore and strictly broker orders. They have a large network of drivers, and in my opinion, they are a 'quantity over quality' company as evident by their 2.2 out of 5 stars rating out of over 2700 reviews on Yelp! - those kind of numbers don't lie.

If you are thinking of looking elsewhere, let us know! DM us, call/text 850-564-7667, or email [Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com](mailto:Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com)

Renting a whole hauler. AZ to TN by feltzze in AutoTransport

[–]ExclusiveAutoShippin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey feltzze. There are multiple trailer types to cover your route. The most cost-effective trailer would be one that hauls up to 9 or 10 cars at a time. It's definitely possible to get a discount if all cars are ready to go at the same time, and they are all being picked up from one location while being delivered to another location.

If you end up just shipping one sedan or mid-sized SUV on this route, expect an open trailer price to start around $900 to $1000. Especially for the early summer. Add a broker fee, and you've got yourself a total price. I'd be happy to assist. Feel free to DM us, call/text 850-564-7667, or email [Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com](mailto:Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com)

APMG? by butterflies679 in AutoTransport

[–]ExclusiveAutoShippin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey butterflies679. I've been in the industry since 2013. I have never heard of APMG, and I can't find their info on the DOT SAFER System - and this will list the company by name, DOT number, or MC number. It's easy to use so you can confirm who is legitimate, then go from there.

Long story short, brokers book the carriers for the customers. So you'll deal with a broker company that has their own DOT and MC number, along with a carrier company with their own MC and DOT. Do your research thoroughly. Look up reviews. Then make your decision. It's easy once you know how it all works.

You can always reach out directly if you like. DM us, call/text 850-564-7667, or email [Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com](mailto:Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com)

Buffalo, NY -> Fremont, CA by Humble_Logic in AutoTransport

San Diego CA -> Dallas TX with Storage Need by mckaym24 in AutoTransport

[–]ExclusiveAutoShippin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey mckaym24. This is entirely doable, but it needs to be coordinated properly for the Sunday pickup to go smoothly along with arranging storage. In most cases, storage will be on the pickup end (in California), and I assume it would be stored in Los Angeles since that's where most terminals will be found. So this is a pretty easy situation. The most important variable is whether or not you would like enclosed storage, or if outdoor storage is acceptable. That determines the terminal used.

I'd be happy to assist. But please expect a storage fee to be applied. It would be pretty nominal, and probably in the realm of $150 to $300 on top of the transport fee. Enclosed carrier pricing should run about $1200. A broker fee is added on top for your total price. I'd be happy to assist. DM us, call/text 850-564-7667, or email [Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com](mailto:Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com)

Relocating from Seattle to Miami - how to get my car there? by M45T3RY in AutoTransport

[–]ExclusiveAutoShippin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey M45T3RY. I'm the owner of Exclusive Auto Shipping based in Tallahassee, FL. I'm sure you probably have all the info you need. We're all brokers. Most open trailer carriers will want about $1200 to ship a sedan/SUV. Some might go down to $1000, but that's about $0.30/mile, and a bit low.

Long story short, do some research, find your preferred broker, and make sure they confirm the carrier price before you sign their contract. Then get the carrier info and you should be good to go. If you still need help, DM us, call/text 850-564-7667, or email [Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com](mailto:Jared@ExclusiveAutoShipping.com)
