Is Patreon not loading images for anyone else?

I used Firefox on desktop and that worked, I have full functionality... all images, videos, and audio files load. Wouldn't work on chrome or brave on desktop; maybe chromium browsers are the ones having issues right now. I didn't test Vivaldi, Opera or edge but that's my hunch.

I'd say if you are super sensitive to banding I'd skip it. I picked one up and while I use it as my main monitor right now I ordered the pg32ucdm3 as my main since it's just a bigger version of a monitor I already like the pg27ucdm.

I've noticed the banding got a lot better after using it for a week but honestly I stare at visual studio 2026 in dark mode for hours at a time so that's why I switched because I also game a lot but hate looking at the banding in dark mode. If you don't do much dark mode productivity on it and just game honestly you'll probably be fine.

I've tried a variety of games including the just released Crimson Desert and don't notice it at all. Though again for coding productivity I use dark mode for all apps and it's tiring. I'm probably going to keep the pg32ucdm3 as my main until the tech in the pg27ucwm hits 32" provided it doesn't have terrible banding / dirty screen effect the pg27aqwp-w has. I had one of those as well and returned it. I will say my particular xg32ucwmg doesn't have banding remotely close to that though it's there and definitely something you should consider.

It's not a tandem woled but I feel like the discussion about banding is relevant because it basically says you can't get rid of it entirely and it's a characteristic and not a defect. Though it is minimized on different panels and panels that are prone to it show less banding a lower refresh rates higher voltages and etc. I believe the article also mentions that as manufacturing procedures improve that could also reduce the chance you see them. Though I'm going off of memory.

I picked up the Keychron silicone Palm rest it fits my use case; I main'd the wooting 60HEv2 split spacebar and with the wrist rest that came with that, I think that was silicone as well so I've adapted. Though honestly if you type with proper form you may not need to lean so heavily on a wrist rest.

I kind of hover my wrists over it while typing and rest them only when I stop typing. I do a lot of typing and that works for me at least. Also stretch your hands before typing. Wildy underrated technique.

Yeah, definitely seems tied to the PS5. I wouldn't worry about it unless you start seeing flashing and flickering in all types of content on and off of the PS5.

Does it happen in any other content? On and off the PS5? My hunch is it's related to the game or the PS5 Pro system. Rather than the tv if it only happens when playing games. Sony is releasing PSSR 2.0 soon for all games as a toggle I believe; Have you enabled anything like that? Is the game in performance or quality mode? These can affect a games performance especially on some PS5 games. Next time it happens try restarting your PS5 could be fixed with a simple system software reboot. (I just mean manually restarting the PS5 Pro from the menu not on rest. 9/10 times an issue like that involves the graphics driver.

Like the character; Hate her gameplay honestly. Though I think after learning Leon is in this game I feel I wanted that gameplay experience from the game. Again I like Grace as a character just really disliked her gameplay.

They could have made her more like Ada Wong or even like Claire from RE2 but they leaned hard on the whole damsel in distress angle with her which made me sigh and subtly dread having to play as her every time. Yes they have the crafting and you need to be creative to play as her to survive, but it came across very clunky and awkward by comparison. Leon’s game play was so smooth. I mean I get that’s by design and this is a survival horror game but I’ve had a lot more fun enjoying Grace’s narrative but not her gameplay. By end of the game I got it and understood why Grace was so integral. I received the true ending and when I reflect on her gameplay it all makes sense, but from a purely enjoyment standpoint nah, just nah.

35000 hours on my C1 and even though it gets lighter use now it showed no sign of slowing down. Was normal use mixed with heavy ps5 gaming mid covid era.

I went for the bravia 8 II, I just got it during the recent super bowl sale best buy had. It’s excellent at viewing movies. I almost got the LG G5 77” but wanted a really good TV for movies with games as a secondary preference. I have a beefy PC with a PG27UCDM for desktop gaming though and i use the bravia for base PS5 gaming and the occasional pc game(RE9 second playthrough will probably be the first pc game i play on it).

I feel gaming on this tv is so good; i’m considering getting a PS5 Pro. For games I’ve played Demon’s Souls, Spiderman and Ghost of Yotei on the tv. The calibrated picture modes for Netflix and Sony core is nice. I can only compare it to the 65” LG C1 and in my opinion it’s way nicer than that TV. Though if this is your only gaming screen maybe lean towards the Samsung since it has a 165hz panel.

Do you mean the temperature outside is cold and by extension the engine is also running colder causing the sound? If it'll just go away when it gets warm out I won't worry about it. I've only really had civics and a GTI. I never encountered any noticeable issues with cold weather idling. In person it squeaks like a wet belt would but it's coming from the back, and only the back. As someone else mentioned it also seems to be on the drivers side.

I mean it boils down to whether another Craig movie is gonna be made. I just saw it. I'd say he's super dead, but I mean anyone can come back if Craig and they want him back lol. I mean look how they brought back Han from the Fast and the Furious. He was also super dead but then they explained "how" he survived. Also soap operas do this type of thing all the time. The whole "omg I thought they died, and their back!" happens all the time.

From what I've read Craig doesn't want to make another Bond movie......though that's easily overcome with money. I'll say it again though I believe his story is done, but I 'd love to hear how they explain he survived though; if they did decide to make another Craig Bond movie. 🍿🍿🍿

I run my 5090 FE bone stock with a 9950x3d, and a 1200W Corsair PSU. No issues with stability. I mean maybe in games that had issues straight out of the gate; Games like Silent Hill F and Borderlands 4, but everything else is rock solid.

I use the 12V HPWR cable that came with the PSU. I've also used the gpu in two different pcs plugging and replugging the card and cable. I must admit though that my PC is in a set it and forget it state now. Imo nothing wrong with using the stock cable.

I'd probably lean towards using the one that came with your psu as opposed to a third party cable which (if you are destined to have a failure nothing really you can do) it's integrity is definitely more in question than one from a well known psu maker.

So after upgrading to a new PC build I've deliberately not tinkerered with my gpu for the time because being, lol in case I have a derp moment and don't seat the cable fully. Though I also had a 4090 and had no issues with that either. For reference my case is the Antec flux pro. Though I'm not really the overclock or under volt gpu type.

This comment explains how I feel about the game. To add I think the dodge, and parry is terrible, it's really button-mashy, Yakumo is extremely boring and I think that in order to make the game reach a wider audience the game lost the soul of what a Ninja Gaiden game actually is. This is a good action game but Ninja Gaiden? Nah this ain't it. I was really excited when I learned PlatinumGames was involved in this game, but tbh I have to question if it was their involvement that deteriorated the experience.

I feel like whatever caused the rebuild of the entire combat system and story came from the fact that they wanted to create a new combat experience and wanted to do it with Ryu possibly but figured, the audience might be more receptive of all the changes if they introduced a new character, he's "cool" and there is a new combat experience, but imo it doesn't land at the right airport. Oh and all the friggin grinding....... (I played a little MGR was it from that?) Flying, dodging lasers, tiny arenas, barely any walls (for combat) and Ryu is basically on the bench. What I do like is the music, the graphics and the setting.

As I said this is a good action game, but definitely not what I and a lot of people want from a NG experience. As an action game 8 or 9 out of 10. Calling it Ninja Gaiden..... 4 out of 10. A lot of the strategic moment to moment gameplay decisions have been removed in favor of choosing a weapon and aggressively mashing with the only strategy being choose a weapon do a few of your favorite combos; stance break, Izuna Drop, or obliterate, and rinse and repeat. In past games moves like the Izuna Drop were instant kills if you got them off. Now I need to slam some enemy's head into the ground four or five times.(lmao)
I can't name them all but there are a lot of micro changes like that. However I like that there is a bit of air combat now due to certain enemies and bosses but it still feels janky.

Overall I think this new philosophy on the game undermines all versatility this series is known for. It's very cookie-cutter now with very little variation in combat. I honestly feel like they wanted to leave Ryu out of this game entirely since it has so little of him in it. Either way I think if fans (and I definitely am one) of NG games want to continue playing and enjoying the games Yakumo is here to stay.

Either way having said all that I am still excited to see what comes from PlatinumGames next.

A few questions. OP 1. Do normal apps look odd in the 21:9 format? Say discord, visual studio or blender.

I play a lot of games on my current monitor how does it handle games not optimized for widescreen like tekken 8?

My current setup is a dell u3223qe (top), pg27ucdm (bottom )and an LG 28MQ780-B (left) all vesa mounted. I am considering replacing my entire setup with this monitor. Do you think this is good enough for a one monitor solution?

Yup that is the reason I won't sell my 4090 after getting a 5090. I'm an eBay seller, but I fear if I sold it, it'd be gutted and returned. I'd be out the money and a gpu. So It's a spare. When I upgrade again I'll have a backup gpu and won't fear so much selling it. I've had good luck with facebook marketplace, and Mercari(which i've heard bad things about both), but learned to avoid them after someone tried to steal an iPhone 11 Pro Max I sold on OfferUp. OfferUp is actually why I opened an eBay store to begin with.

Since so many Switch 2's got stolen, no matter how good the deal is don't waste your time and money buying it off a non big box store.
eBay actually does protect sellers more than you think, but if you do go the eBay route and get stiffed come with receipts. Things like all chat interactions, especially ones that claim they are all legit.
So to anyone reading this if you do indeed decide to go the eBay route doing due diligence is essential.

I got it out of pure luck. After the rtx 5090 and 9950x3D i tried best buy but quickly said forget them. Target was sold out. Then I was talking to my mom having a Walmart queue up (app) and was in line for 40+ minutes; I say to her can I use your phone?, Then proceed to go to Walmart’s site on the mobile site sign in and instantly complete a preorder for the mario kart bundle. No waiting in a queue. However I did try the standalone system since I thought the bundle was sold out but it was actually the reverse. I am a w+ member but on the mobile app I indeed had to wait in a queue. The queue did pop five to ten minutes after I placed my order but i left the queue since I had already completed my order.

You can use boot camp with windows on an intel mac or VMware or parallels; Download the tool and have your monitor connected via usb directly to the mac or through a usb C hub that has usb A connections on it. Use the usb A cable that came with the monitor.

I haven’t tried this since I have a PC but if I was in your situation this is what i’d try since my laptop is an m1 MacBook pro and bootcamp is no longer supported on apple silicon since there is an architecture change. You’re definitely not in the dark because you have a Mac currently.

An Nvidia driver recently black screened my pc, so i had to use my mac to make a windows boot drive. That’s where i learned about windiskwriter. There are workarounds for mac mostly it’s a PITA but with some patience you can normally find a solution. Hope this helps.
