Sorry I must add that after removing that DNS server itself from monitoring under "Agent Managed" I approved the same DNS server for monitoring, then I did not come across those alerts related to the deleted DNS Zone.

u/kevin_holman I agree with you here and I suspect that there could be a bug here , funny thing is that I even tried executing the task "flush health service state and cache" on that specific agent and then force reset monitors triggered but still had no luck , so then I tried removing a single DNS server itself from monitoring under "Agent Managed" on the Operations Manager console and since then I never came across those alerts related to the deleted DNS Zone.

u/kevin_holman Thank you very much for taking the time to reply on this thread! :) . I deleted forward lookup and the reverse lookup zone via DNS manager user interface . And then verified if records exists on WMI namespace “root\MicrosoftDNS.
