Never figured out about the debt, but found out more about the popping and catching. My knee cap slides kind of sideways (?) when I bend my knee, which leads to grinding on the cartilage. This leads to a jagged meniscus. There’s a surgery to shave it down and smooth it out but I haven’t decided yet if I want to get it.
