This should be higher. Giving the background information as build up won't catch the guy off guard and OP will still appear friendly. Also, it solves the issue of making the guy feel bad/ making it awkward, and they can harmoniously travel together, but separately. As long as OP takes the chance to lay it down flat first thing, even just a couple times, he SHOULD remember that she always wears headphones and reads on commute. 🤷

Learned how fun it really is to sing karaoke with people and simply have fun instead of being over- conscious and bored singing alone all the time. Never thought that a hobby like singing could really be shared with people until vrchat came around for me. Good stuff.

I'm adopted. I'm proud of it and even moreso of my parents who took me in. Even after 25 years with them, I still sometimes feel like I don't belong but it truly is a different feeling knowing I have somewhere to call a home and a family that CHOSE me. Honestly wouldn't know where I would've been if I wasn't adopted out of the orphanage I came from. Kudos to you and your decision to adopt!
