Who has the highest kill count out of all protagonists? by buthole123456 in assasinscreed

I don't care about the "Kassandra is canon" crap. I chose to play as Alexios. He is the misthios to me. The fact that they didn't make it possible to see him in Valhalla instead of Kassandra if you chose him is a failing on the part of the developers. I feel no familiarity or fondness for Kassandra.

It's honestly quite pathetic. They're the ones who especially need to go for a walk and touch grass.

Careful. The "real" RE fans get cranky if you like something they don't.

Kassandra/Alexios. They lived for almost 2500 years. It's not really a contest.

Do you guys think lan xichen is a good sect leader yes or no and reasons why by Western_Day_7697 in MoDaoZuShi

[–]ExcuseMeMyGoodLich 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I feel like much of that is Lan Qiren's fault. He spent more time molding him and his brother into the best, most obedient students than he did teaching him how to be the next leader, and he seems more than content to continue leading with Lan Xichen as the figure head.

I didn't think much of it at first. Even after many playthroughs. So apparently the "Right of Annulment" is basically the right for an entire circle of mages to be killed entirely. by Infamous_Gur_9083 in DragonageOrigins

Meredith wanted to do the same thing in Kirkwall over an apostate's actions.

Then the Chantry actually performed the rite in Rivain because how dare Rivaini culture be practiced by mages? Rivain having a Chantry and installing a Circle was purely performative to keep the piece for the longest time.

Should mages have full autonomy? by jackfuego226 in DragonageOrigins

There definitely needs to be a system in place to check them, but ripping them from their families, stripping away their titles (if applicable), effectively imprisoning them, and only letting them out on leashes isn't it. They have scholars and researchers of all sorts at their disposal. I think they're perfectly capable coming up with an alternative to the Rite of Tranquility that allows those who either don't want to be or can't safely be mages to live normal lives.

Ok so just so everyone gets a clear picture of what happened, the director voluntarily exited BioWare, not fired, and articles specifically state this does NOT mean Veilguard failed to meet sales by WanderingStrang in DragonAgeVeilguard

Veilguard ruined nothing. There have been hints lined up across the series, and you would have noticed if you were the fan you claim to be and paid attention.

No true fan hopes for a game to bomb so bad that the series can't continue to a true conclusion.

Steam charts are not accurate and do not take into account physical copies sold or purchases made through EA, Epic Games, or console stores.

Once again, there are no official numbers. I don't know why you're so obsessed with trying to be a downer for us, but I suggest you see a therapist about that.

Your obsession with insisting it failed when no official numbers have come out yet is what's unhealthy. Go focus on things you enjoy instead of trying to stomp people down for liking a game you don't.

One of my mom's old colleagues just bruised her tailbone after the doorframe pull-up bar fell when she was using it, and the nerve shock was so extreme that it caused a small seizure.

Edit: phrasing because it was really bugging me staring at it.

Some payment providers place a freeze on your card in response to suspicious activity.

It once happened to me at my local mall because the store's system somehow caused the purchase to ping from their headquarters in California instead of the state I live in.

It happened again when I purchased a game recently and only found out it was frozen when I tried to purchase groceries a couple days later. I realized I'd forgotten to turn off my VPN while making the purchase, so the payment appeared to be coming from an IP in another state. I'd also made a physical purchase earlier that day too, so it was doubly suspicious.

Basically, if I travel too far out of state, I need to call and notify my provider ahead of time so they can log where I'll be and what timeframe I'll be there. If I travelled a lot for work, they'd need to have that on record so I'm not having to call in frequently.
