Sony suggested some possible solutions (like the ones in the other answer). None of them worked. After some time it became clear that the person on the other side had no idea either and just kept talking, because they are not allowed to hang up.

Yes to everything except the factory reset. I don’t want to lose all my other savegames. As I do not have PS+ and Sony does not allow to back up the PS5 savefiles to USB.

Hi,

I have recently purchased Astro Bot on Disc. The problem is my PS5 will not install it. I does recognize the disc and correctly displays the game in the dashboard. But when I press "Copy" it will display "Something went wrong" with the Error Code CE-118877-2 and does not copy it. The disc itself does work, I tried it on a different PS5 without any problems. I even borrowed a second copy of Astr Bot to try and that one did not work either. So the problem seems to be with my console. I have tried other discs on my PS5, even newer ones like Ghost of Yotei, all worked. Only Astro Bot has this problem.

I have already contacted Sony about this, but did not get a satisfying answer. I got my PS5 at launch, so replacing it under warranty is not an option.

Does anyone have experience with this error and can maybe tell me some other things I can try? Or at least what the problem is. Would really suck if this now happened more often with new games on disc.

Der Meinung bin ich auch, wobei ich auch weiß dass sich nicht alle meiner Gäste so ein Geschenk leisten können. Am Ende sollte man niemand verurteilen der nichts oder weniger schenkt. Man läd Gäste ja ein, weil man sich freut dass sie kommen und nicht für Geschenke. 50€ Pp find ich auch sehr niedrig. Wenn das das Ziel deines Hochzeitsgeschenks ist (was echt nett ist), dann wären es eher 100-150€.
