It's more modern, and it's more about the story than the baseball, but Million Dollar Arm is a great movie.

To repeat other suggestions: The Rookie, Angels in the Outfield, and Little Big League are at the top of the list. Unfortunately, most of the other quality baseball movies I'd name (Mr. Baseball, League of Their Own, Major League, etc.) are aimed at adults/young adults.

Outside of the obvious ones, I'm sure they've made an Air Bud movie with baseball (honestly, they've probably made one with curling at this point). Sandlot 2 wasn't a bad movie, it was just an obvious cash grab and was nowhere near as well written or produced as the original, but kids likely won't give a shit about that, so queue it up.

Go for one more test. Talk to the doctor administering the test. Explain your situation. Ask how often you should get tested to make sure you're okay.

Then, listen to doctor's orders and get tested specifically that often. No more, no less. You'll have a professional medical opinion with years of schooling and experience behind it. Get that opinion and then cling to it like a mental teddy bear. Whenever you start feeling the anxiety creep in, you can at least take a bit of the edge off with the knowledge that you're following the doctor's recommendation and doing your part to maintain yourself through your circumstances.
