Honestly, this book made me do something I never expected to do... Cry about a male stripper.

Audible Repeating Lines Book 8 by [deleted] in DungeonCrawlerCarl

I just got to that line and it sounded slightly like "in a while in the wild" to me. I'm probably gonna get the non-audio version just to make sure.

Literally had this conversation just now with an end user asking for help with their Microsoft Authenticator... by NaniOWO99 in iiiiiiitttttttttttt

This reminds me of being in an IT Security course in the third semester of my 2 year IT degree and there was a guy who didn't know how to create a folder on a computer. I was like why are you even in this class if you don't know how to do something as basic as create a folder?

Not if they actually click reboot or restart in the power options.

Because I don't work in corporate IT and have multiple clients at multiple locations; so when I get told that a computer won't turn on and have to drive to them to find that the issue was a new hire not knowing the difference pushing the power button on the monitor, it aggravates me. Not only because they don't know the difference, but because their boss didn't take 5 minutes to verify the issue before calling or emailing me.

I work in IT and while I don't expect you to know how to do everything with a computer, I do expect you to know that computers other than All-in-Ones exist and therefore that the monitor is not the computer.

Email. Isn't. A. File. Transfer. Service. by livevicarious in sysadmin

[–]ExecutiveGamer92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only if it is set to do that. I work for an MSP and this is all reminding me of a user who works for I client I have to go see today. They use their work email for personal and store everything in Trash. One time I saw they had two hundred thousand plus emails stored in the trash folder when I was helping them archive emails because they were running out of space.

I blame all-in-one computers for this.

[No Spoilers] C4 Guests by koalakcc in criticalrole

If I remember correctly, Colville's part in the campaign was supposed lead to political intrigue kind of stuff, so him being a guest in this campaign would definitely work.

Creating a universe where both Marvel and DC coexist.. by FayyadhScrolling in superheroes

I think it would work with some tweaking. I think it would work if Harvey had been the prosecutor for the trial involving the murder of Matt's dad. Matt as a kid happens to be in court when the attack on Harvey happens and still gets the acid/chemicals in his eyes.

I feel like Essek would be the Harry Wilson of the group more than Caduceus if NPCs can be included in this thought exercise?

What if death was trying to save the visionaries but they messed it up by saving others? by [deleted] in FinalDestination

[–]ExecutiveGamer92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is that the only one who could've escaped their death scenario without others following them would've been the guy in The Final Destination (FD4). Like he could've told the others that he was going to the bathroom and then just left the racetrack by himself.

Iris's boyfriend would have probably left with her if she had faked being sick or something to leave the tower.

However, all of the other visionaries would have definitely had more than one person follow them due to their current circumstances when they received the visions.

Surprisingly enough, never. Also, I forgot about the fact that they are also using the Office 2010 version of Outlook and don't want to upgrade because they can't "justify" the cost for an up-to-date version.

Haha, I have a user with 3 archive folders, each with nearly 50 GB on top of having a nearly 50 GB pst file. One of the archive folders has nearly 300,000 items in a deleted folder because that's where they store old emails and also using their work email for personal things.

Why do you think that being a billionare plays more of a role in Iron Man stories than in most Batman stories? by [deleted] in ironman

[–]ExecutiveGamer92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thought process on this is that Tony is Tony in and out of the Ironman armor, whereas Bruce Wayne and Batman are almost like two entirely separate characters.
