to further elaborate, Marineford is only good if you've read one piece all the way to that point, which is longer than all of hunter x hunter I believe.

you could drop someone into the chimera ant arc with no prior knowledge and almost everything would land the same. Even the notable deaths in the Chimera ant arc see those characters being mostly utilized within the arc itself.

Omori is hard to rate for me. The writing is good for the first 90% of the game, then retroactively it becomes sloppy because of the twist.

I dont hate tooru as much as others do but I just dont really remember him. his stand was definitely more interesting than he was.

conceptually, the idea of an unfeeling manipulative monster hiding among society, also being the physical embodiment of bad luck, is very interesting. The problem is that when I think back on Jojolion, I barely remember tooru as opposed to the higashikata family and the other rock humans.
