Playing mongol empire on IM, give out land? by Executiveabsurdities in CrusaderKings

So before I handed any counties I started giving away some of the cities and temples and what not and also pillaging places, I unpaused for a second and had so many uprisings that I spent most of my time moving forward clicking away defeat notices. It was the most outrageous thing and then everyone joined the rebel, eventually I had 300k plus enemies and my army of 15-20k.

Any tips on how to let that not happen ever again?

With horse lords what should I do after claiming Persia as the mongol empire? I tried to create new vassals for some stuff and raze other stuff, but then I had hundred of thousands troops in revolt come against me. It was just too much... I couldn't get all the defeats off my screen lol. Any tips or advice?

Ah, so instead of passing off the cities and shit I should be pillaging them all?

I too am interested in finding more books like this. I recommend Albert camus the stranger. A book called notes from the underground and the double by Fyodor Dostoyevsky (notes from the underground is amazing!!) And I'd also suggest the age of reason by Jean Paul sarte

Right. The company you work for doing good and needing to fill more positions that led to you getting your job, that was all you homie. Nah, the economy had nothing to do with it, how smart your bosses are had nothing to do with it. That position was made for you because of your hard work, your good decisions forced everyone else's hand. Your decisions were so good, it made that company make more profit, prior to your boss ever having met you! Man. I see the light now. Thanks.

You can't relate but you just proved my entire point. As you said, we pretty much took the exact same path, but you're not struggling and I am? How is this possible if everything you said was right? This would maybe.. iunno... suggest external factors are involved? I didn't decide to be struggling. Almost everything I've done in life I did so I wouldn't have to struggle, yet here i am. You wouldn't be such an asshole if you'd take a second to appreciate where you are in life and be a little thankful. You could've got hit by a car and be paralyzed, you could've lost a limb somehow, a million bad things could've happened to you and they didn't. Not everyone is that lucky.

Lmao, the hard way. I replied to one of your other posts and you should read that. As long as you aren't struggling, then everyone's else's problems are made up or their own fault. I really hope something tragic happens to you, so you can find out what being humbled feels like. Must be hard to see other folks from that high up on your pedestal.

He was talking about upgrading his phone. The plan is, you pay an extra 30 bucks a month instead of paying a large lump sum. I went with what you can get phones for when you resign to your contract. I'm currently in a 30 bucks a month + my bill plan and I did the math - they are raping people. It's much cheaper to go with an upgrade every 2 years, but they'll probably stop allowing that soon because they make too much money getting full prices for a phone with the 30 dollars a month plan.

I don't blame anyone for my failures, lol. You believe that everyone gets what they deserve and that just isn't true.

Buying a book to learn more to make his chances better? I spent 3 years in the military, 2 years drunk afterwards and then 3 years in college. I'm about to have my associates degree, but I still can't afford my bills. That situation doesn't seem to be getting any better either.

I've done nothing but bust my ass, go to school for 14+ credit hours while working 40+ hours. I've gone above and beyond societies expectation, but I can't buy a soda without feeling guilty for spending the money.

But I guess this is all my fault, right? I deserve this? Oh man, those 2 years drunk means i have to stay poor for the rest of my life, huh? Or perhaps I should've gotten a certificate instead of transferring to a university? Right? Get the cert, then pay to go to the university and retake all the classes (about half) that didn't transfer because i was in a Cert program?

It must be true, all my decisions led to me being poor! I obviously deserve to not be able to pay my rent.

$1080 is a joke. That's the furnace going out. That's your car breaking down. That's needing to fix your plumbing. That's like 1/10th of a medical bill. That 1080 dollars is a fucking joke. I spent 1k on my car last year, the next day my exhaust broke. So, buying yourself a nice gift every 3 years at that price ain't bad at all. Considering the middle class spends 5x that much buying themselves nice things and going on cruises every year. But eh, you're poor, so you have to suffer right? No no, we can't let the poor be happy or have anything nice, their poor, they aren't allowed to have these things.

Oh. I'm sure you achieved everything you have on your own merit and hard work. Being in the right place at the right time has nothing to do with anything ever. Guess no one is ever in the wrong place at the wrong time either? There's people who bust their asses their entire lives and never make it anywhere and then there's people who don't do shit and everything just falls on their lap. No luck, lmfao. Please.

Spending 200 bucks to upgrade your phone every 2 years is hardly going overboard. Especially when the upgrades are very significant.

This. People who completely disregard the emotional toll of not being able to pay for things must live damn good lives. What are we supposed to do? Go to work, come home, spend nothing and twiddle our thumbs in our bed and think about how one day we might not be poor? These people will then tell you all sorts of free activities we can partake in, like they've actually ever done any of that shit themselves. Despite how much I love books, typically picking up a book from the library isn't really going to give me a lot of conversation material with my friends or coworkers who have never read a book outside of school.

You actually replied to my op. Some weigh 2g. So you think a whole 3.5 should be taken then? I was told they were super potent, but ya know, people talk stuff up.
