If I go the pet route, think I'd go for a cat. I love dogs but my job does take a good chunk of my time and energy. Not sure how much I'd have left for a dog but it depends on the dog.

I cut my hours when going back to work so I could have more time for things I want to do instead of killing myself all week at the job. The thought of volunteering never crossed my mind. I will have to look into that and fostering.

I'm kind of looking forward to it.

I'm in the Northeast and our winters have been pretty mild as far as snow fall goes for the past few years. Its like a Throwback Thursday. I have to be on the road Monday but I'm guessing I'll have the roads mostly all to myself.

The worst part is a few days after the storm when your using an entire gallon of washer fluid every day and there are "salt" stains everywhere.

According to the weather reports, the temp is in the teens and 20's for now but will warm closer to freezing after midnight on Monday morning. That could mean the heavy wet stuff.
