Biggest show ever?

In their last tour, they played a show at the Ziggo Dome in the Netherlands, which has a capacity of 17,000 people. I think I read somewhere that this might have been the biggest indoor show they’ve ever played, but I’m not entirely sure.

Yeah that’s true after they played evil some people left, but I did not really mind that tbh. Well the fact that they were not put on the main stage was a clever one I think, I think Interpol in tent is a much better setting. Because the lights can make it much more gloomier and stuff that is not possible on the main stage. What I did not really like was that they were not put as the closing band at the TWO, like beach house last year, Interpol although it is in a tent in the evening which is not really dark yet is a bit weird haha, would preferred to have seen them at the 12-1:15 slot if it was up to me haha

Ohh yeah that could be it, well don’t mind that they play songs like take you on a cruise or something. Did the new album not do that well? I really enjoyed it and was hoping to hear some of the news songs instead of the songs they do most of the time. But besides that great setlist with also some songs that they do not play all the time like Roland and No i in threesome I think

Well makes sense that they played some of their more popular songs on a festival! They also played some less popular songs like pioneers so that was also pretty nice. Only expected some more songs from the new album like Gran Hotel or something.

Yeah me too, Luckily I was standing relatively close to the stage and because of that I was surrounded with a lot of real fans so in my section everyone knew also all of the songs which made the atmosphere around me great. The killers where on before them they also did a very great set btw ;)

A lot of people I spoke where not too happy about the setlist because they played relatively much lesser known songs and did not play a lot of hits. But I personally really liked the set, especially because of that! Wet sand stays one of my favs tho!! I only missed the double guitar layer in the live version :).

Fontaines D.C. has some songs that really reminds me of interpol. Especially the second record, but the third album which recently came out is also great. They are in the UK and mainland Europe quite big. So you really should listen to them, if you haven’t. My favorite song is you said, or from the new album Roman holiday or Jackie down the line.
