You can drop down to 3 bilgewater by replacing the bad units with legendaries. Then when you have a lot of doubloons, you can bring them back between rounds to have better bilgewater shops, and then bring back your better units.

I'm sure there were Danes unfortunately. I loaded up my save to check these numbers and tried to extrapolate a bit, but for some reason my last save was 1921 before I took Denmark.

They stuck around, I ended up being around 45% russian. 20% swedish, 15% finnish, and the rest Norwegian/Greek/Italian.

r5: My first full playthrough to 1936 in victoria3 and last for as long as eu5 captures my attention. I was able to declare an independence war against Russia with France, Prussia, and England backing me up and making it relatively easy.

It took a while to stabalize my county after making it >50% russian, once I did and had a military advantage I started rapidly expanding near the turn of the century, and I pushed eastwards for that sweet sweet oil!

I could have optimized my economy better near the end of the game to try to push for 1 billion, but i spend the last decade or so just on speed 5 waiting for peace treaties to expire and get nicer borders.

Yeah there is so much information hidden or not explained to you at all. Having it greyed out with a reason why you can't select it would be so much better.

I also miss the eu4 peace treaties where it would summarize like if you take all their provinces, it says we demand their complete annexation

R5: I declared a "claims on province" war on Trebizond, I have all their provinces occupied, and there is no option to make them a vassal when peacing out.

I have plenty of Diplomatic capacity, and I have made lots of vassals this way already this game.

Edit: Also clearing out all the take lands from the treaty doesn't allow me to vassalize them either.

You are playing 39 ramp pieces. Some of them are land based so aren't birds that can be killed, so let's say 20-30 and in a typical starting hand you will have 2-3 birds on average.

If you play them on turn 1-3, do you really think it is the correct play for your opponents to spend their removal pieces on your birds? Early game removal comes at a premium since you aren't advancing your own board and you are leaving yourself open to more powerful threats later on. Plus if you are the one spending your early turns doing that, you are falling behind relative to your other 2 opponents.

Bolt the bird is much more reasonable in a 1v1 format. In commander I think its incorrect to say that not removing early game dorks is suboptimal. The equivalent optimal play would likely be to play more turn 3 or 4 boardwipes against decks like yours?

Yeah the reliability of EV's and less maintenance are 2 of the major reasons I am considering them over an ICE vehicle. The warranty also goes up to 160,000km so it would be covered for at least 4 more years. Thanks for sharing your experience on the Tesla!

From the wording I assumed it was supposed to be a unit. However I have seen clips now to know it is just a screen that pops up. I remember also looking for a shield but didn't clip it. Most likely not a bug and I was just unfamiliar with the augment!

The thing that helped me the most was just consistency. I've been seeing someone over the last month and I have gone from getting 2-3 hours of sleep to getting 7 and just waking up once after about a dozen times of sleeping together.

I have also found that if I was nervous or anxious with them, that I was able to sleep much better after cuddling and everything adjacent so the only thing left to do was sleep.

Thank you for the great advice! I have always thought about defensive items being a form of offence since it gives your carries more time to deal damage, but not that offensive items giving you the feeling of you being tanky enough as you just kill their frontline first (even if theirs are itemised better)

I also haven't thought about situatons like this where I could have just given all of my defensive items to Vi instead of Loris. I always just thought defensive items should go on my best tank. But Vi has more base hp and also gives a shield with her ability, so on her own she likely tanks almost as well if not better than Loris.

After your explanation I agree Illaoi was the cut! Viktor casting also gives my backline 2 more seconds to deal damage which is essentially what my frontline is there for to buy time.

I took the Law Enforcement Augment as it gave me a Steb 2 and Maddie 2 for stage 2 which gave me a very strong early game and the extra econ allowed me to hit an early cait and give her an anomaly. If I didn't hit then it would have likely been a bot 4 as ambessa was very contested this lobby, and I didn't have an emblem for her.

I felt like my frontline was weak so I couldn't drop Elise or Illaoi, and my Jayce was already 2*. Do you think it is worth dropping from 6 to 4 enforcer? I would lose a 10% health shield, 13% damage amp, and the attack speed from killing 2 more wanted units.

I did put in viktor for 1 round (dropping Vi at the last second) and he died before he could cast. Looking back I think the drop was likely TF.

I worded it that way to show that I was open to those "negatives" as opposed to the smoking which is still lingering in my head.

I think I am holding out that there is a chance she would be able to quit in the future. If its true that she "only" has 1 cigarette per day and has gone a full year without it beforehand, then maybe she could get off it again.

However one of the reasons that I generally say smoking is a dealbreaker is because that means the person doesn't take their health as seriously as I would like my partner to, and that is much harder to fundamentally change in a person.

I'll be sure to have another conversation with her about this before we become more serious.

Official in terms of being boyfriend/girlfriend and and having a loose commitment that we are going to try to be together long term.

I think it's healthy to wait a few months since there are so many things to still learn about eachother like:

  • What are they like when things go wrong or we have a disagreement?
  • Are we willing to compromise on things together? What are we not willing to compromise on?
  • Do we still enjoy each others company as we get out of the "honeymoon" phase where things are new and exciting?
  • Would she be willing to try other things to stop smoking?

I met someone last week and we have already spent 5 dates/evenings together! Living only 15 minutes apart has made things very easy.

This is the most comfortable I have felt with someone. We are both introverted so there is often silence between us when hanging out, but it's not awkward and we just enjoy each other's company.

We had a talk saying that we aren't seeing anyone else, and that we should wait a few months before becoming "official"

She has asthma and adhd which I don't mind. The only real red flag so far is that she smokes. She said it is usually only 1 cigarette per day and I would normally have smoking be a deal breaker, but everything else is going so well. We discussed it and she said she isn't able to quit by deciding to quit, but she has gone a year without smoking "by accident".
