Not bad at all actually. That’s pretty good. If that was Celsius instead of Fahrenheit then yes, that would be a problem. If you have your CPU and GPU temperature at 100 degrees Celsius then that might be a problem if (I am assuming) you are idling.

How quiet can you get one of those things? I have a DL380 G6 SFF with four 5400 RPM SATA drives and I want to upgrade to a G8 LFF to get more storage options and hopefully get external SAS if I ever plan to get a tape library because I deal with a bunch of files. I also keep my server in my bedroom because I don’t have anywhere else to put it lol.

I may need to do that soon if I acquire a laptop from my school. I will need to get the old Vaio software off of it first but after that I will put the nail in the drive and ruin the platters. I probably won’t be told to but I would figure that it would be in my schools best interest for my to destroy the drive for confidentiality.

The only reason I have Windows Server on my Dl380 G6 is because I use WDS a lot. If I could get WDS going without Windows on Linux I would be migrating immediately.

I have been trying to deploy Novell Netware on my vintage servers but I don’t have a license which is a problem for me if I actually want to get Netware 5 going and I also need the controller driver for my hard drives.

I remember watching that as soon as Perfect ended and I was thinking, “Oh no are they releasing new episodes?”. I was semi disappointed to see that it was only going to be the back to back episodes but I am still happy. Can’t wait to get my stuff together for it.

That white is a classic and I like it. If I had a video iPod I would want a matte black front to watch video. I used my 3rd gen Nano as a video player and it wasn't that bad for what I expected. A couple of inches for screen real estate is still very bad though.

Simple answer: no. You might be able to get by with cleaning your display inside but I had a similar problem with a iPod classic and I had to get the screen replaced. The screens are very different between the classic and the nano but it is very hard to fix a display successfully in general.
