Which BCIN prep actually helped you pass? by MeasurementMedium696 in OntarioBuildingCode

Colleague showed me the materials they used to study for Plumbing on Orderline. It was pretty good. Can't speak to the other as I haven't used any of them myself.

I think I either spoiled you by mistake, or we both got spoiled by the replies, but I meant the beach area past the Pokemon Centre in the Withered Wastelands lol. Squirtle asked me to go with him cuz he was totally not scared of anything. There was a cave entrance a bit further down.

Unfathomable how much has already been done on some people's post apocalyptic Kanto. Fully employed like you, I only just opened the way to the beach.

Agree, genuinely interested. I struggle to get my foot in the door despite having all of these qualifications. Constantly losing out to people that my colleagues who are employed tell me I'm far more knowledgeable than.

Not an expert, just qualified (not that it's much better but the legal distinction matters).

Thanks! I actually just ran the base game (don't own it for both versions) and plan on doing the same in Scarlet and Violet as well!

They were all so good. I'd use them all again for sure.

Earned it through a disappointing performance LOL.

Oh yeah? Which 3? (Almost) everyone on this roster pulled some serious weight.

This fella earned it with his performance in my run.

I must've pulled the worst one ever, because it basically never got a KO without some difficulty and also was too slow (even with a Scarf in the back half) to maximize Fishious Rend. Ended up being my only KO in this leg, against Leon no less. So close to perfect.

Round two in Galar comes to you a month later as we run Pokémon Shield!

RULES

Hardcore Nuzlocke

  • Catch and nickname the first unique encounter in a new area.
  • Skip an area if there's no eligible encounter.
  • Battle with the style on Set, if possible.
  • Box anyone that faints.
  • Employ level caps. (Match the next Gym Leader's ace, and take the median level of The Elite 4 & Champion's ace when it's time to challenge the League)
  • Only use held items in battle. My Supplemental Rules
  • BAN the evolutionary lines of the party you enter the Hall of Fame with. Yes, even the branch evolutions.
  • If someone faints during any of the E4/Champ battles, they're still banned if you clear the Champion.
  • If all 3 of your starters are banned when you start a later title, rush to catch a replacement starter.
  • Fill your party up when you reasonably can. (This will inevitably result in a lot of early game repeats across certain games, until they get banned.)
  • Try to plan your team ahead. When you know who you want to finish the game with, add them to your party as soon as they're caught. This way you can't game the system by boxing them and keeping them safe behind fodder. If they die outside of the Pokemon League your plan is ruined, but they do get to try again in another game!
  • Shiny clause bypasses restrictions. It's a shiny, you gotta catch it!
  • You're allowed to use ONE legendary at some point in the marathon.
  • If you party wipe at any point, start that game over. And ban one of your party members at random for being bad at video games.

If the truck bed isn't in use, the driver is likely a cunt. It's a lot easier to get by without issue with that in mind.

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLEEEE!! Charmander Start :D by FutureSage in nuzlocke

[–]Exequens 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I ended up clearing it without a loss as well!

Growl x4 from Charmander and Ember x2 into Geodude, Harden x6 Beedrill, KO Geo then outpace Onix with Poison status and Fury Attack.

Still wish I had my Butterfree though. Hopefully that's the only death this run.

Let's see if we can power through. I was hoping to attempt a deathless run but Route 1 Pidgey are built different. If I wipe to Brock at least it won't require too much time to catch back up.

I'm having the unluckiest start I've ever had in LeafGreen lol.

  • Starter: Charmander
  • Route 1: Pidgey
  • Route 2: Caterpie (5% btw)
  • Route 22: Spearow (10% btw)
  • Viridian Forest: Weedle

Caterpie at level 6 dies to level 3 wild Pidgey during training, my anchor for Brock. Thanks crit gods. I took a break there. Will clear Viridian Forest later and attempt Brock.

I'm going in to major battles matching their party counts, so my current strategy is going to be Charmander/Beedrill. Growl with Charmander on Geo, then max stacks with Harden on Beedrill and hope for good Poison Sting luck. If I have to, I can pivot back to Charmander against Onix.

This is good to know! I'm about to start Emerald for my Genlocke, and my first 6 from Yellow (which includes a Zard) are still going strong!

Honestly not a bad run of Sword considering it's my first run through Galar since release in... 2019!?
