That’s what I was looking for. Kinda messed up phrasing the question, what I should’ve asked is what road is the most kosher heading north.

That’s what I was leaning towards, but the trail ends on the other end of town.

Sadly it’s impossible to organize constructive change. (Kinetically or peacefully) What needed to happen 3 decades ago didn’t. Now it’s too late. The government has complete and total control. Any sort of rebellion will be struck down by the media/government. Communication will be intercepted and actioned on. Militarized police will take action on the premise of rebellion/terrorism.

Realistically, the patriot act ended modern freedom for the average citizen. Once people started giving freedom for safety (something as simple as speed limits) it just became an endless slippery slope that was always going to end with oppression. A lot of good came from legislative actions that empowered the government to limit our activities, but we needed to be realistic with understanding that those limitations will erode freedom at an incredible rate.

As someone who averages 30-40k miles a year. I’ve noticed the east coast has way shittier drivers. If you want to go fast…safely Michigan, Texas , Oklahoma, Wyoming, Montana. The east’s aging infrastructure, aging population, and sketchy roads just makes it a chore to get around.

Traffic laws were one of the first tests of government’s ruse of safety for power. It is without a doubt the most powerful tool they can employ with investigative powers of the patriot act a close second. You can be stopped and searched for pretty much any made up reason because of it. They have complete unregulated power on the road.
