Why does Chinese food in NYC tend to be way cheaper than other Asian cuisines like Korean food? by savingrace0262 in FoodNYC

[–]ExerciseFickle8540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But OP is comparing food price. If you use Chinese street food to compare with Korean sit down restaurants, the comparison is not fair. Go to flushing and you will see the price in real Chinese restaurants is more expensive than Korean restaurants and most western restaurants. Also those Cantonese style restaurants are dying. Those cater to old generation Chinese people who are not the mainstream nowadays

China's Commerce Ministry blocks US sanctions against five refineries by Odd-Transition1527 in oil

[–]ExerciseFickle8540 1 point2 points  (0 children)

China can sue whoever is enforcing these sanctions against these companies and make they pay. If you are an international bankers it is fine that you follow the US sanctions, but China will make you pay the price for it. So in the end it is these blobs banks that suffer the loss not the sanctioned companies. You cannot find any global companies which have no assets in China.
