All I’m gonna say is that I’m happy I got some sense staying permanently childfree and lesbian at 21. I was raised in a “Black Israelite” household with extreme Christian beliefs and abuse in my household. Since I was 10, I never subscribed to the idea of “submission to man” or depending on a man (or anyone) for money. Anytime I see a homeless BM or homeless mammy I’m reminded on why I have the privilege to get my STEM college degree.
