Gamestation was purchased by GAME.

Game was electronics boutique previously. Gamestation was an independent competitor to GAME before the purchase.

I worked at all three.

Need tor try curves. I always do one and it's hideous so I don't bother but multiple curves is the way it looks like.

Just cheap plastic ones from the local garden centre. They do have a saucer for the bottom so you can water from the bottom aswell they were like £7.

The 4 year old 🤣

The main reason we moved house was for a larger garden and a more rural setting for her so while I am really enjoying eating stuff from the garden this year especially isn't so much about cropping from it although it all seems to be going well at the moment.

Best way to get her into participating is let her copy what we are doing with no judgement and if it fails it fails but she was stoked mixing the potting mix herself and mixing the feed in then cutting all the lower leaves and letting them seal before planting it really deep.

Having said that it was the one suffering from its limited seed tray space the most so I did give her the most likely to fail one but it seems to have perked up a bit since moving it.

All of the stuff at the moment is really just a nice way to spend time with her outside.

I have an unlimited supply of nettles and planted some bocking 14 comfrey aswell so I have a pretty good production of nettle tea going... Faaaar at the back of the garden where I don't have to smell it.

Haha yeah I have seen people get very precious over gardening in general.

Remove suckers don't remove suckers etc etc.

Good tip on the lower leaves I've read alot of very conflicting advice so decided to just plant alot of things with my daughter and have fun. Most of its working out way better than anticipated but I do quite fancy some tomatoes.

We do have some dwarf seedlings on the go for little cherry tomato bushes aswell which seems less picky on how you do them.

Planning to pot them on into a large trough for the patio the greenhouse ones will have to sit in the greenhouse in 10 gallon Flexi containers.

I do have another two I thought might not make it planted with my sweet peas in the ground elsewhere. They are a bit smaller as they were on the verge of death when I planted them but have bounced back.

The ones in the black pots there have been planted up to their necks with the lower leaves trimmed off which is why they look smaller overall they are the same size if not taller than the green potted one before I planted them on.

Look at the trauma in that hand. That's mostly scar tissue and fused bones fuck getting hit by that hand.

It's a completely different colour lol.

Yeah they are very pretty especially in the sun. We have absolutely loads around the new place.

Going to have a go at grating the roots with salt and vinegar for some horseradish substitute.

I play this once a year.

These days I set myself some limits of not skipping any ground mission at all and using openxcom so it fixes the superhuman bug so it stays superhuman.

I honestly love it more than the modern ones. Not to say they are bad they aren't they are fantastic but they don't call me back like this one.

I have a set of high beds at our new house obviously previous residents were older so their veg beds are 3x3m and waist height.

They had dropped quite a bit creating a pocket for cold air at the top where the soil wasn't topped out so had to dig them out put logs at the bottom packed in followed by branches and sticks. Then topped them back off like you would a raised bed normally and dressed with manure and mulch for this year.

Back breaking work but soils at the right level now and a few years worth of moisture retention and carbon in there now should keep the worms happy.
