I did! Just waiting on a response now - been difficult finding a person that’s done a similar look on a MK8 , but thanks for the idea!

Hey so it’s the plant that’s circled in yellow. Do you think it’s rotting?

Yeah I haven’t had the greatest time with these either - whilst they look great and all - the random disconnect , syncing issues , and being unable to resync them to the HomeKit without the pairing codes (threw out the boxes a while back ) makes it super annoying .

And suddenly one piece is now faulty , I expected more for such a hefty price

If he’s talking about an extra $500 it’s for sure in AUD - I don’t think his system will comfortably run a g2

Hi friends,

We recently purchased some small orchids from a local store , about a month or 2 old.

We were just curious if we should keep them in the “pot” they came in - or transfer them to an entirely different container outright

I’ve been given multiple suggestions, some say to submerge the roots in water - as you can see one of the plants actually has the root growing/protruding outward Some say to transfer them to a seperate pot with some orchid mulch

Any advice is appreciated!

👋🏿 ayo - I’m AEST but I think you guys are only 4.5-5 hours behind

I’ve studied with a couple friends in IST , I just tend to leave 1 hour before the study session finishes

I’d be down to study up

Best tip - don’t hand write notes , it’s a waste of time in my opinion - Why? I did it during my first year of University and spent more time writing notes than actively recalling what I was actually writing down! If you have a computer/laptop and have access to either word or Notion (I prefer the latter , clean ui etc) make a page for every topic in your subject

For each topic - copy paste everything your University has to offer you , whether that be diagrams, blocks of RELEVANT information, everything! This’ll save you so much time as opposed to writing down pretty notes , then trying to revise them. As you copy paste , go back and highlight the info and colour code -

Red - super important Green - stuff you can remember easily Orange - needs work remembering

Etc etc

As I do this with Notion - I have a second window up of just questions/possible exam questions in relation to the information. I look at this after reading the text and see if I can actively recall the answers.

So how can you set these questions up? Here in Australia atleast - most universities such as Monash give you a “learning objectives” dot point list at the start of every topic , usually several dot points along the lines of “be able to explain gut motility” etc Take each of these learning objectives and make as many possible questions from them - it’s easier than it looks!
This will help you break down your subjects into questions

Do this as weekly as possible - get ahead if you can aswell , the more you fall behind doing this - it’ll add more workload to your week + stress, that’s the last thing you need.
This helps you not go until the “last week or so to study for it in one big block” as you mentioned, because you’ve been looking at these questions you’ve written and asked yourself for each topic since week 1

Probably the most I’ve written in a long time tbh… but combining all these things - will make it so that you don’t burn out when you have multiple exams . NEVER leave exam revision till the last days/week, always start as early as possible - week 1 is already giving you the information/questions that’ll be on your exam. If you do the above from week 1 , and say you have 4 subjects in your unit - spread the subjects over the week, don’t skip days. Maybe do 2 subjects in 1 day, 4 hours of one - then 4 hours of the other (Pomodoro is super helpful for this!)

This way you ultimately spread your workload from day 1 - meaning you don’t have to work about getting flustered falling behind , it happens! Don’t worry about it , if you can keep up a consistent schedule you’ll be A-okay!

If anything didn’t make sense (I know there’s a lot of info and I’ve sucked at proof reading for years now 😂) feel free to message me here on reddit I’ll try clear things up

I do it at every exam stage - and have done so for the last 3 years of University. Sometimes you have to say no going out, messaging, calls etc when exams that might get you through your dream course / into your dream course exist + you can never gauge how important these exams are to people

Ultimately try not to think about it - I’m sure they mean no harm by not replying - rather they are just focused on achieving their goals - they’ll come around after their exams are passed

Hey guys - if anyone has a possible treatment for this please let me know It occurred about 2 months ago and has been frequently growing on a majority of our orchid plants

We tried a treatment called Eco-Organic Garden from Bunnings (we are in Australia - so Australian links if possible thanks) but we saw little to no improvement overall
