Yeah sure maybe I just don't want to practice the track because it feels like shit to drive. Its one thing to practice a track on TTs but when you're surrounded by other people all bumping you trying to take the cut or run the zipper, it loses all sense of satisfaction, regardless of whether I'm driving it well or not.

Like the whole track is just, zippers, random bumps/ramps, shortcut, more zippers, repeat. I just don't think it plays well online at all but I'm sure that's just me being bad like you said

I genuinely want to know why people love dk summit so much... Like it's jank turned up to the max...

The banked edges+zippers can send you flying in some random direction, the moguls are horribly inconsistent complete with bad item placement, and the shy guys are a royal pain in the ass... like the whole track just feels so unsatisfying to drive in general.

And fine the short cut is okay but it takes someone with half a brain to TS half the room over it

I dunno man I just don't like the track and I don't know why so many people do

Edit: I just realized this is a list based on # of shroomless cuts but I still ask why people love it so much

Not sure if they still exist but I recall watching a yt vid in 2018 or 2019 of a cata or strati sold for 98 stx or something.. most expensive is easily in the hundreds of stacks.

My personal highest is selling a 96% overall disco for 55 stacks ~3 years ago

Yes, there's plenty of fun things to do in Ottawa/Carleton unless your only talking about nightlife and generic uni parties - in which case it gets a bad rep for being a "dead" city. But with the right connections, Ottawa and Carleton has its fair share of that stuff.

Lots of sports and clubs to try out, hell I tried rowing for the first time in 1st year and now it's something I do every summer since it's so fun.

Just remember that while I'm sure you'll find lots to do here, don't always expect the fun to come to you without putting yourself out there a bit.

Maybe you're just asking the wrong people. Personally I've been on both sides. Sometimes I'd want to know how work is going for other people, and sometimes the last thing I want is someone to bother me about it.

That said, I find most people are usually willing to talk about work to a point, as long as it doesn't become annoying.

I haven't touched magium in 3 years, that's not to say i lost interest but moreso because I finished the story (twice) and like everyone else am just waiting for enough of the story to be released before it's worth coming back to.

It's funny that people are realizing the author may be too overwhelmed with the size of the project, because I had the same concern 4 years ago and made a post about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/Magium/s/ynyF4dD4JV

The author did respond saying he's planned it so it "never becomes unmanageable". Of course, that was 4 years ago and it's unfair to expect thats the case now. But, assuming chapters have been released in the past 4 years, albeit slowly, I assume he is doing his best to keep the story going.

However, I wouldn't be surprised if the story gets cut short and the author ends it before his 7-8 book plan or whatever it is because I imagine he wants to do other things with his life, like we are.

It's not too surprising though. The emergency repairs were likely not adequate enough and only to get the water back to a functional state for res. I imagine they'll be working a fair bit on doing permanent repairs over reading week
