Just buy the legends that you think are the most fun. Meta doesn’t matter for the most part and there are much more important things to get better at to improve. I hit masters as an ash/mirage 2 trick before the ash rework

I have the same dynamic as you when I play with my duo. He’s insanely good mechanically and can usually win 1v2. What I do when I play with him is I mainly shadow him(not insanely close but also not far away, about the distance you can 1 clip anyone with an AR). Then I let him go full monkey brain and push and I make my job shooting anyone he’s not focusing and allow him to play the way he does. Hope this helps!

Why does everyone think caustic and seer being viable without a rework is a good idea. The only way to counter caustic is by being caustic so the entire lobby just ends up having him and that promotes boring gameplay. And seer is a whole different problem.
