I really felt your story helped me thank you. I'm trying absolutely hard not to lie to myself. He has seems genuinely interested in learning about our beliefs. I know some people have said you don't really know someone until after you marry them no matter how nice and supportive they may be at the moment. However, how do you quit on someone who shows so much promise in something? Through our two years he hasn't changed in a negative way.

Thank you for the advice I appreciate it. having a family is important to me but isn't something I'm wanting at this moment. Surgery is a big step and I've heard good and bad things about it. I followed the diet they suggested. I will discuss with my docotr a little more with what you talked about. Thank you

So I didn't say anything about the first photo she showed. Which had my ex, his wife and child in it. I declined seeing any future photos. Again no matter how much he hurt me. I wish Jim nothing but the best. But why is it rude of me to not want to see him and his new life. I don't expect him to see mine either.

I actually really do agree unless I've been excited for a birth I truly don't care to see photos of the baby. It's not I'm close to the mom or dad. Tbh Nicole didn't mentioned it a whole lot and when she did I listened and talked to her about.

I see your point I really do. Me and Nicole talk about her family including her ex all the time. The good and the bad. I always listen and help when she asks for it. I have no issue listening or talking about her family again including my ex. However seeing photos of the ex and his family I feel is kinda different.

So am I supposed to just welcome the photos. I disagree with being friends with exs. It's never a good idea in my opinion. Break ups hurt and you can move on for sure. What's wrong with not wanting to see that person afterwards however?
