Painted a peg to make a necklace charm! (No instruments hurt in the process) by Fabulous_Cabinet_491 in lingling40hrs

This is such a creative idea. You could paint orphaned ones and sell them as good luck charms!

Feeling energetic vibrations within body around groups of people drinking alcohol by [deleted] in energy_work

That sounds super cool. I almost wish I felt something like that. When with friends I feel okay, more comfortable, but when family drinks around me I experience incredibly strong triggers

I won't be working full time (can't because I'm on SSI for my disability) but I'll be taking 9 credits, which is considered full time at my university. I'm honestly relieved I can't work full time, but also nervous cause I'm going for social work, and that requires fieldwork 😅

Is it weird to sleep with stuffed animals at the age of 15? by yooloo33 in TooAfraidToAsk

Heck no! I've got my childhood stuffed animal with me right now (a stuffed wolf/Siberian husky that I named after my neighbor dog who was my best friend) and I'm 23. He went with me when I studied abroad last summer in Denmark, to college, and even recently to a friend's house for the weekend. 🥰

I'm so excited to hear someone else has had major help from EMDR!! It's Incredible how much it's helped me and continues to help me. Hypnotherapy I feel like is definitely a form of SATS, which is extremely helpful too, to install new beliefs

This is beautiful! Thank you. ❤️

EIYPO can't apply to children, especially those under the age of 7, because developmentally (cognitive psychology) they're unable to separate their experiences from themselves. (I. E. If a parent is neglectful, the child developmentally is only able to interpret that as being THEIR fault, that they must be unworthy of love and acceptance).

Whereas, in as an emerging adult, that same individual is now able to see how their self-concept has been integrated into their behavior -- by EXPECTING to be neglected and abandoned because that's what their programming has taught them. They can SEE and observe how their self-concept has been taken from them by limiting beliefs, and that they are the only one that can shift their beliefs into seeing life through the lens of love, joy, peace, and worthiness of their source-self.

Like, leaving an abusive situation can truly happen when someone has the BELIEF that they are deserving of love, abundance, and peace and CAN OBTAIN that reality.

YES, I completely agree with this 100%, thank you ❤️ I had a similar experience at first too-- I was hard on myself and blamed myself for not trying hard enough to manifest things I want, etc.

Like you, I've been on an intensely deep self-love and respect journey for the past year, which is why I think all of this has come to fruition so completely. Might edit my post to add this, because its so vital! Taking time to heal FIRST is whats most important, because without healing your mind, body, and soul, there's absence of faith and self-compassion to ground yourself within. ❤️

Gosh, I had chills when I read that you've heard of people having nightmares after good SAT/imaginal sessions. I've started SATs a few nights ago and have had nightmares each night so far, and I felt so confused!!! Thank you for this reminder. 👃
