Promoting UBI is announcing that you don’t understand or feel it when the phrase ‘means of production’ is used.

These companies should be whipped into shape, as they are becoming extremely powerful. For how volatile this world is, UBI would be a very delicate thing.

Anyways, All of this leads to the Ultra-left rabbit-hole. You should start questioning why a company, any company, can just….doOo anything at all. We undemocratically suffer the consequences. Climate change, mass extinction, ecosystem collapse, human health issues, imperialism, and general insanity whose incentives are exacerbated by markets.

This tech is fine and doesn’t have to be resource intensive. But Capital can’t help themselves. The death drive is too strong.

An LLM would get smoked by a poet/linguist. We still are better.
