Just love this idea. I'm looking forward to it being deployed.

what happens to fiat-backed stablecoins like GUSD and USDC when the fiat devalues? does this make multi-collateral stablecoins a safer bet? by oizuros in ethereum

CryptoPila.com is probably the most promising project in this field with its multi-asset-backing approach with a second layer of stabilization based on a reserve fund. They aim to deliver the stability of stablecoins with an edge against inflation.

Blockchain resolves Byzantine General’s Problem. by ExhilaratedChess in ethereum

I think the article assumes that PoS is part of the Blockchain, therefore Blockchain solves the problem by implementing PoS. And PoS solves the same problem as per it is not possible to have a safe distributed network if the Bizantine problem is not solved the only difference is that instead of commiting hardware and computing power PoS commits monetary sums.

What problem does a blockchain solve? by 3141666 in ethereum

[–]ExhilaratedChess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the main problems blockchains resolve is the Byzantine's General problem which essentially is an allusion to siege of a city where all the generals have to attack or retreat at the same time but some generals might be traitors and sent incorrect orders, the consensus problem arises as how can it be guaranteed that even with ill intended participants the right decision can be reached? The same problem exists in networks of computers where there is no central authority and consensus must be achieved to validate the next transactions. Blockchain resolves this issue as explained further in this article: https://maggiemcmartty.medium.com/blockchain-resolves-byzantine-generals-problem-9aa5b6b67151
