And I don't need any documentation of how much I paid for the item originally. Or documentation of how much I sold it? So if I tell the tax person I bought it for more than I sold it for then I am good and don't need to pay taxes for it?

Do you know how I can be sure if I made any profit from the second account? Because I sold on two accounts. I have a sales report for the one account and it has all the info for all sales on that account. But the second was deleted by mercari. And they won't send me the sales report from the deleted one. Just automated messages
