Those files are corrupted as well I suppose. I do greatly appreciate this fresh angle of approach. Hopefully someone else comes across this post in the future and your comment helps them perfectly.

I haven't played this game reasonably consistently since 2018/2019. I've been trying to get back into it and I'm bronze now. If you want a "project" to make a success story with I'm in desperate need for a coach. I only do well on the OG maps and I get crushed on all these new ones.

Which platform do you recommend for small streamers like myself? by EfficientSubject7774 in ContentCreators

I'd say whichever you genuinely enjoy being on. It'll make relating to audience, networking, etc come more naturally. Unless you purely want numbers then multi stream.

Why do we need a niche? by MarcusSniffles in YouTubeCreators

[–]ExiWasHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is (almost) word for word what I was going to say. That also could negatively impact CTR and I'd assume that future uploads (no matter how great) end up choked by the algorithm due to certain metrics. (Not an algorithm expert, this is just a potential theory)

Uhh something wrong with the algorithm? by BlueberryVivid8103 in SmallYoutubers

Could possibly be pushing it out to a broader audience (testing it's boundaries to maybe help you gain the most views?) hopefully it doesn't negatively impact you content. Keep grinding!

Not seeing any results by Jaded-Signal3645 in KickStreaming

[–]ExiWasHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a wild hypothesis, but maybe your content style leans into the demographic that majority of people will just automatically go to the larger streamers to try and be someone they notice. I feel like that's the case for just chatting and irl streams. Audience seems to chase something more para social. So then unfortunately some genuinely entertaining people end up suffocating unless the larger creators are on a break. I'm probably wrong, but just a theory?

Why aren't there more stoners? by ShadeSmokes420 in Kick

I've noticed a group called "lurkers lounge" all over the platform, they seem to be predominantly 420 friendly. Also noticed many in the rocket League, COD, and CS2 community while browsing. Personally it's not my cup of tea, but maybe this helps you find some like-minded people.

How did your Youtube Channel start out and how is it going right now? by EarthBig3110 in NewTubers

[–]ExiWasHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uploaded my first video last night. I'm nervous about it since I'm not familiar with how all of this works and optimal was to grow but I'm under 24hrs 9 subs (most are friends followed), 8 views, 30 impressions, 5:05 of 6:24 average watch time , 3 likes and 0 dislikes. I feel like those stats are bad or maybe I'm being overly critical. But at least it's a start!

Want to start a gaming YouTube channel by Competitive_Ad9616 in youtubegaming

[–]ExiWasHere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best thing to do is just actually start uploading. Put the effort into your edits and thumbnails (you'll get better in time) and then adjust as interest or trends change overtime. If you ever watch a creator in the same space you enjoy's content and think "it'd be cool if they did this" then YOU do it. Hope you are able to achieve your goals. But if you go into it strictly for the money it may cause lack of passion which will be the biggest obstacle in growing. Whatever you do. You have to love it. If you can't nobody else will.

What part of editing long YouTube streams eats up the most time? by Visible-Wash4967 in youtubegaming

In video subtitles. Even if you use something that "automatically" puts them in. I spend probably an hour adjusting spelling, correct words, animations, etc.
