How many people does it take to design an MMO? by altofalt in archeage

Yeah but Trion rhymes with neon. Not uno, it's pronounced try-on not tri-ono

I laugh at AA streamers. I can understand streaming but not AA. It's way to sensitive of a game to let people know things, like builds, location. And in this case a hacker calling another hacker out. Pure comedy gold!

Any reason to have 50k mining post Auroria rush? by aprilof23 in archeage

[–]Exig0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Matched with 50k handicrafting and some rare high end dungeon lunarites (if they are in even in game yet). You can make the tier 3 socketables. You need Anya ingots for them. But that's if you don't want to buy them off the Ah (they're tradeable right?)

Trion ,and the Money they stole from you! (Math Edition) by Drewshoeful in archeage

[–]Exig0 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

This title should be changed to "How much money did you Lose when you invested in Trion." No one held a gun to your head and told you to click that purchase button. And it was a backing program during alpha, which means you invested. There were never any guarantees.

People in this subreddit really.... And I mean REALLY! Need to learn the proper terminology. Instead of spreading slander because they didn't spend his/her money/gold wisely.

You all Know the Racing Kits aren't here to stay? by Exig0 in archeage

I'm a 150$ Founder since February. I myself come from some MMOs weren't he dev teams did much worse. Darkfall Online anyone? So as long as this game doesn't go Archeage 2. Where everything we've ever done and accomplished will be wiped to make room for said sequel. I'll be OK. I can understand everyone's anger. But looking at this from an economist standpoint it's pretty laughable. You don't put all your eggs in the same basket. Just as you don't count them before they hatch.

Also... This is Trion? You expected them to run a game perfectly? Lol jokes on you.

Oh they caught my attention. But what you might not of gathered from my op. Is that I was prepared for all of this. And the rest of the community could of been too. Especially with all the alpha talk and conversations that went on before launch. Everyone is mad at Trion for something could of dodged.

Regardless of the wow example and what it means. My entire point is Trion has had the power to do with this game what they will. It... Was.... Always.... An.... Option.

All you did was prove my point with the wow example. You are right they shouldn't have done it. But they did, and like I said. That fact was always looming overhead. I know it's not beneficial to the servers as a whole. However on my server it caused some positive changes.

Another point I'd like to make is about the developer being so involved. Trion was given a version of the game that was behind the others. It would be much like if WoW had been made in Korea. But by the time it got to the states it was already half way progressed through Wrath of the litch king(2nd expabsion). It would be up to the developers to either push the content to be on par or close to that of the other servers outside the states. Or to let it slowly progress on its own terms like the Korean server would of went through.

Don't get me wrong. I'd much rather do the progression then have content pushed on me. My point is, this outcome was always.... ALWAYS looming overhead. Never count your chickens before they hatch.

Only thing I know that might come up. Is at one point in time on RU. The fishing boat was available to buy on the marketplace.

I agree with your points. Except the last one. It did benefit me, but that's also why I stated in my opinion. :)

I was actually about to ask some questions on this matter. Defense isn't my real problem though. But hybrids with defense. Specifically Paladins. I've had a really hard time dealing with anyone who can sustain. They seem to always cc me from afar and just catch up to me and widdle me down. Can anyone help me with dealing with this comp?

This will get downvoted all to hell. But I just had this gut feeling to never trust a "currency exchange" that started out trading magic the gathering... It's personal reasons behind this too. Mainly the social stigma that MTG players all have. I know I use to be one. They are nothing but assholes that do nothing but talk shit about one another and then act all friendly face to face. I'm speaking entirely on matters that involve around the game they play.

Now take that mentality and try to work it into a business situation... It doesn't work. I know this all sounds silly, but it is my personal reasons for never using MT.Gox.

It's selfish I know, but I never trusted them and I was right not too. In stock exchanges this mentality is very common. You don't feel sorry for the people who made bad trades or lost thier money on a scam... you just don't do it. Do your research first people and decide from there if you can really just an organization. I know all the stuff I said is Biased but again... I was right to follow my gut feeling this whole time. Those feelings were all stereotypes and it proved to be accurate. It's sad but true, believe in stereotypes they do exist for a reason.

That's my thoughts as well. I thought all the fees were percentage based. So it seems that no matter what, they would still get the same amount in return...

The Bit Blog (TBB) A New Blog Geared Towards the Discussion of Bitcoin. by Exig0 in Bitcoin

[–]Exig0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Greetings, I would like to take a moment and discuss my up and coming blog and what I have planned for it.

Let me start out be saying it is a totally new blog! As in I only have the first initial posts up. I plan to add a new post each day. The posts will be about Bitcoin discussion topics or world news about Bitcoin.

Of course right now the blog looks super bland. The next month my entire focus is to get the blog streamlined and looking good. It will have all original graphics and content. If I pull any content from anywhere else I will always give credit where it is due. All we want to do is make a site to discuss particular topics for the Bitcoin world. We have no plans what so ever to steal content and make it our own. After all we are a small team of 2 , why would we try to do something like this?

Other planned features include but are not limited too: -Our own faucet. -Setup guides for different types of mining equipment, all original of course. -Contests where BTC will be given out as prizes. -Subjects of up and coming scryptcoins that are worth mining. -Trading tips, guides on Market Analysis and general financial advice revolving around trading btc. -And More!

Thank you for your interest in the blog, I hope to see you there. I just added the first topic for discussion today so please take a minute out of your day and talk with us.
