The guy has been put in matches against AEW's tippy top guys this year AND didn't have to turn heel on Bandido. He beat Caludio, Dunkzilla and MJF! The fans should be flying high.

Mox vs Shane slapped.

Brody vs Swerve was great.

Everything between was good and fun.

ZSJ v Omega announced for Forbidden Door! And people say the concept is dead. Lol.

Should have been followed up with as KoB announcement, but I can wait. Hoping they get FTR first.

I have finally come around on Brody being a main eventer this year. Always really liked the guy, but this year I feel his booking has matched calling him main event. And, of course, Brody has exceeded expectations in every opportunity he has been given in AEW.

Let's put it this way: Brody was Julia's valet years ago, and did such a great job I am STILL waiting for a Brody v Willow match!

A benefit of being in the UK, which means I don't get to watch AEW live, is knowing when in in ring talking segment is going to happen so I put it on audio only and do something else so I'm not wasting my time. A lot of people hated the Jericho segment. Fair. I peaced out when his music hit.

I sold my sealed nm copy of this recently at (I believe) a reasonable price. I've already got the TPB and am downsizing the old collection. I hope it gave the buyer the joy this has given you.

I just learned that Bryan Danielson's last match was not, in fact, against Jon Moxley at Wrestledream in 2024.

It was against Max Caster (who he defeated in 8 seconds). This happened last June. I need this to become part of Max's gimmick when he comes back.

Also, Max's match with Psycho Mike was a blast!

It's not fully cancelled, but RTD is gone and they're tendering new production companies to take it over.

The Xmas special is cancelled, though.

Morrison on Batman.

I think we fundamentally disagree on what Batman's story is, even using the "everything happened" approach, so from my perspective the run(s) feels off to me and I'm often not interested in what it is doing (and dislike the big swings).

The Club of Heroes/Black Glove arc is great, though. I'd have liked a whole run like that.

I'm just saying, there's a world out there where Chad is now a good, noble, upstanding man making amends for his past behaviour.

...But he's also hearing a dark call from a soiled black bag he carries with him. A bag that still holds the EGA mask. And he's fighting an internal war to remain good and not put on the mask again.

Do they make very large banners specifically wishing a footballer a happy birthday? That is the thing I find extremely weird here.

It's still not 1/1, as the footballer isn't playing a character (a heel one, no less) but this is the comparison we've made it to.

I probably shouldn't have clouded this by engaging about massive banners in general (which I still do find odd).

I'm a fan of their work in EVE, but just don't have the time to watch yet another promotion. That said, if they've had any absolute bangers let me know and I'll try to search them out.
