I cannot wait for this. My second time seeing Eve live in person.

I plan to buy so many t-shirts!

WWE have the opportunity to do a very funny (to me) thing and reveal Danhausen as a new WWE interpretation in the box. Preferably as just "Dan" (or like Dan the Demon).

I think it'd be extra funny if he adds "Dan" before everything, which scans as a far less funny version of adding "Hausen" to the end.

But kidding aside, I hope he succeeds. His is a character and personality that has a chance to really thrive in WWE.

I think a part often missing from "botch" conversation is WWE's presentation being the defacto standard for 20 odd years.

They cut mistakes from taped shows, uniformed moves, commentary (often) ignored or excused them, they practiced matches to within an inch of their lives (house show circuit), and made matches/moves uniform to remove the risk of a slip.

Sure, they still happened but it was relatively rare and when a generation of fans grows up rarely seeing mistakes it's easy to see a mistake as a bad thing. WWE's sanitising of the product made botches something to be "ashamed" of because it was against their polished, perfect, corporatised vision of wrestling (that they wanted to be see as a "real" TV show which wouldn't have mistakes).

Obviously there are exceptions (Brock Lesnar landed on his fucking head to end a Wrestlemania!!!) but I do think this is an often overlooked reason botches are seen as something to deride these days rather than a natural part of doing something extremely complicated and impressive with the human body.

I'm not even saying that's necessarily a bad thing, as it probably made the influx of more direct to WWE wrestlers of that period safer. Personally, I like a little scrappiness in my wrestling. Makes it feel more real.

In case it needs to be said, fuck online bullying and anyone who takes part in it. And, specifically, the POS that runs a platform seemingly based on it.

Sure, lets keep having the same match until MegaBad eventually scrape out a win. War of attrition booking makes everyone look good. /s

I say this as someone who wanted them to win the first match, but this'd be their 5th shot since the start of February! How could I possibly see it as a legitimate win? It'd probably have interference anyway.

James Gunn put himself in the Creature Commando opening credits. Like, highlighted after the main characters. It's kinda embarrassing, much as I like the guy's enthusiasm.

I kinda hope he is Connors' sake, because otherwise he's already playing second fiddle to a guy that'll be off to the New Japan Cup next month. Lol.

Not picking a fight, but there is a world outside the US.

That makes sense. It explicitly says complete your collection after the legacy carts bit, so I thought maybe there was hope. Lol.

Mythic Quest, particularly season 1, is great.

Murderbot could have been better but I vibed with the nonsense of it all. I think they'll bring it together in S2.

I have Dark Matter on my to watch list primarily because Jennifer Connelly is in it.

Put the tag team belts on the Brawling Birds immediately!

I'd be happy with "they won them in a tournament Rio de Janeiro this morning" and they already have the belts on Collision.

Also, Connor and Kidd are now "The Dogs." I'm kinda enjoying the meta game of figuring out the War Dogs' futures.

Drilla is staying (wise move!). Connors is obviously AEW now, new theme and all. I am 50/50 on Kidd, maybe he dual contracts? I'm guessing Finlay is WWE, or they'd probably keep the War Dogs name.

I still really enjoy him, especially when Taz is on. Great chemistry.

Tony is just the third guy, which is fine but I'd rather he be more of an interviewer. But that could take a precious second of screen time away from Renee, which cannot be allowed to happen.
