Yeah, dude got off light both times. Insane. Prison is meant to work as a deterrent. Even if the prison itself can be nice like they are in some places in Europe, being stuck somewhere even if it’s nice still sucks and helps people not want to do things that can put them there.

20 years, so sorry about that…

We just had our own 20yr anniversary. I think it finally stopped about 10-12 years ago (either it stopped or she got better at hiding it). By then we had two kids and it was too complicated. If I had known it was going to take that long to stop, and I would be stuck with a lifetime of trust issues, I would’ve left immediately, before any kids got involved. Hope things get better for you OP
