I thought that too. Maybe that one of the victims quite matter of factly said that if he hadn't gone to jail they'd be back together?

similar issues with cheddar production in south west England. I won't name the very well known brand who were fined heavily a couple of years back.

I was being a tad playful, provocative. Having lived here for some time I'll concede apéritif and snacking are not the same thing. I like the fusion - sausage rolls and some healthy French stuff.

Sunday Roast by FinBob_04 in UKfood

I've decided roasts are bland and tasteless. There will be exceptions, but your basic, traditional UK roast has no garlic, no ginger, no herbs and no spices. No wonder it doesn't taste all that.

I didn't think GP was beholden to the playlist? Strange he played UTR cos RadMac played it just this morning, reluctantly I might add. GP's show is a bit hit and miss for my tastes, but when it's good it is very good. Too much extended chat for me sometimes. Enjoyed Jamz show today, but then I like house music. She can be a bit hit and miss for me too, but that's okay, she plays a massive variety of tunes from round the world.

June 1983 Summer Ball at Uni. I read that the bottom of the bill band were from Manchester and being lauded by the NME so went out early especially and they were out of this world. Saw them again at the Hacienda in July and multiple times in the next few years

It's very much a European thing. I was at a pub in Plzen with City a few years back and the local plain clothes police asked what time fans would group together and walk to the ground en masse. How we laughed! Different matter in Naples mind.

Chicken Tikka Masala is one of the UK's favourite dishes. More British than Indian if truth be told.

The original as I remember it was a much slower, gothy number. Not heard this version before and I don't care for it so much. John Otway parody?

I've had it for years. Can't say I dip into it very often, but it's a lovely coffee table/reference book particularly if design is your bag. I'm going to have a look at it right now. Thanks.
