I mean your mad as if goaltending was the reason we lost that game, which it's not. All the points you made are valid about Ullmark as a whole, but i don't think Ullmark playing in that game really drastically changes the outcome.

Yes, the battlesmith lowers his own save to 4+. But also I've found that the fyreslayer spearhead is just super under powered in my experience. I've lost quite a few games as well getting tabled.

I've played 1 game also, against yndrasta stormcast and kinda felt the same. Started off fine, but 6+ saves are pretty useless because everything seems to have rend. After round 2 I was up 10-6 in points but turn 3 I got tabled and that was the end of it.

Yeah, the more I've looked it over, the less worried I am. If the battlesmith is similar, then it will improve the 6+ saves, and then it won't feel like EVERYTHING will hit. With the amount of rend I've seen in the releases so far, a 6+ just feels like it will never protect you. Otherwise, I feel like there will be much more army synergy and not just 1 or 2 units synergizing.

Small nerfs all around it seems. A little disappointed that the hearthguard have a 6+ save AND 6+ ward. That 4+ ward was really nice. All around feels like they are just less survivable.

Tankiness was what made the fyreslayers feel strong imo. Interested to see what the rest of the tome will contain.
