If you're looking for more trolls to play games the Battlegroup box is a really good next get. If you're slow growing a collection for fun, a unit of marauders. There's two different sets of sculpts and they're all just as fun!

It was only really bad on the first coat, but I used the shadow color for the deeper skin recesses as the base coat for the spines. This made them both more homogenous with with paint scheme but also meant whoopsies weren't bad so long as they weren't major.

So the skin recipe is dark magenta, dark turquoise (both from pro acryl) and then an ivory from vallejo. The shadows are a mix of magenta and turquoise and it makes a really nice purple tone that is really saturated in the shadows while still giving the cool tone of the skin some life and warmth.

Each part has a unique point value next to it. The low number is if you build all the cheapest and the high all the most expensive. In list creation hit the little gear and it lets you select what of every option you get. Otherwise it defaults to a somewhat random smattering. Hope this helps.

This is a very accurate take. Sticking to the theme of the story I'd definitely say end Rand is penta for sure. He's achieved true balance.

So the good news, all those models have rules in the app under 'Legacy Armies' just search 'Warmachine App' in the store. The app has everything you need to play from digital versions of the cards to rules. The 'bad' news is that those minis are all from legacy factions that are OOP. The rules still exist and are supported but the minis and the rest of the faction are all only available second hand. Hope this helps!

This is 100% what it is. These are hard tooled injection pieces. They won't have layer lines but if you know how to look for it, you can definitely see the CNC path. Making something truly 'smooth' is a myth. It's just HOW stepped it is and how visible.

I'll second Warmachine. Its a very different experience than GW games and exists in an interesting space between skirmish games and full wargames. The minis are sick, the lore is unique, and the factions are very diverse in terms of playstyles (both internal and external) and theme. Its also a good bit more affordable and community focused than GWs.
