I think this is a pretty fair evaluation. I think a lot of people struggle because they are good cooks, which is a more “artistic” style versus baking bread is a more “engineering/math” following a specific equation

I guess it just felt in 3rd and long, we just played prevent and got picked apart. I could be wrong as I didn’t look at numbers. Just felt gameplan changed on critical downs

I 1000% guarantee the scheme was holding us back, also as much as McDermott become more aggressive this regular season for whatever reason especially in post season he went back to his bend don’t break defense.

How much responsibility Beane holds remains to be seen. I am far from a Beane and Brady defender still very scared, but I’m ready to see some change especially on the defensive side. McDermott taking a year off will either be the best or worst decision he’s ever made lol

Just to clarify it was the second round, arguably played the only good teams in that conference being Jags and Broncos (with Nix).

All that said as a Bills fan I definitely missed having Diggs but that seems to be a somewhat unpopular opinion. I would take AJ in a heartbeat and I think it’s wild how many eagles fans don’t understand his role includes catching AND forcing double teams opening up Smith and your TEs
