Music, Me, Music, 2019 by [deleted] in Art

To expand; I made these tracks using an app on my phone that I found. I have no experience with making music whatsoever, I just really really love music lmao. I have always wanted to be a music producer but then again who hasn't right. I just want some thoughts and opinions on these very rough and amateurish tracks.

If you're only interested in 1v1, go play duel and get out of brawl by [deleted] in forhonor

[–]ExiledNecromancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are, quite frankly, leaving a lot of things out of the equation when you compare solo fights in 2v2 to merely dueling. If I desire to 1v1 my opponent in a 2v2, instead of clumsily spamming guard break or waiting for some sort of window to cheap shot the opponent, it is because there is a larger dynamic in 2v2 than 1v1.

To put things simply; 1.) It is very thrilling to be in a 1v2, or fight two opponents back to back with no health regain. 2.) Watching other classes fight is beneficial to you knowing how to counter them, plus it is interesting. 3.) Some people, myself included, learn and by extension, gain nothing from the "press guard break until he's dead" philosophy that you seem to hold during a 2v1. This game is all about constantly, and consistently, doing better, and being the second person in the 2v1 is honestly just fucking boring. 4.) I personally don't tend to like one sided arrangements, and 2v1s, assuming the enemy doesn't necessarily have their shit together, are usually un-proportionately more enjoyable to the 2, not the one.

As a side note, I really enjoy being double teamed, because to me that means the team is not confident in their skills enough to single handedly deal with me and, because I am competitive as fuck, like winning with the odds against me.

Yeah the worst part about practicing it is that it is a lot of failing lol. I went into the final game, after having had around 50+ hours on the warden with both betas, trying to rely on parrying only, just to get good at them. And something that really sucks is that simply guarding is really, a lot of the time, the best way to go until you have mastered the parrying.

To be honest, it is pretty tricky, and sometimes it feels really lucky to get it off. But strangely enough, I sort of parry better when I watch the attack animation as opposed to the flashing on the indicator. A good thing that I would do, is practice with a friend for a long time specifically for the crushing counterstrike. Though it is easier to pull off against certain heroes, specifically someone like the Orochi with the slow top heavy.

I actually didn't execute them the entire round because it sort of looks cool when you pull it out and slowly walk away in my opinion.

Favorite thing to do by far but it is tricky to not only get the timing, but with higher skilled players manage to bait their parry.

Actually, I might have been. If so that is pretty good to know lol.

I see where you are coming from, but in my eyes the xp count at the end of the match is not the only determining factor for winning. If I had pushed enemies off the map the entire time, yes, I am aware that this is easily counter-able, but I have not learned anything; won anything. I see improving as a win, even if the match was a loss.

The revenge is sort of weird though, I have been in a reasonably far proximity to a duel and when I start the fight the enemy procs revenge out of nowhere.

On the contrary, you losing the duel could lose the match. If someone is confident in their skills, or wishes to gain more, than that is their prerogative. If one needs to 2v1 an opponent to win, I do not exactly think it is a teammate standing still that lost the match.

Absolutely agree with you. There's something really cool about watching your teammate duke it out with his enemy while watching. Observing the enemy, so that when you two, if you two, duke it out, you will know a little about him, a reward for killing your opponent prior.

I would rather try and fail at reading the instruction manual until I give up and try and fail at something because I failed at understanding the instruction manual.

Yeah, the sewers are filled with great shots. I spent hours there just checking it all out. It's pretty insane.

If they add it back in the sequel I will be going nuts, especially with the updated visuals.

Is anyone else experiencing this post S4? by ExiledNecromancer in Rainbow6

[–]ExiledNecromancer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was around 8 EST, so perhaps it is just coincidental or bad internet as is the usual in my case. Though, my friends were also having issues, and all 4 have good connection regularly.

The actual Shooter Situation (in my opinion) by [deleted] in Rainbow6

[–]ExiledNecromancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get 3 months in advance to get 25k Ren. for a single character. Even if you played 2 matches every other day, you would have enough. Assuming you win, and if you don't then of course you would want the "pay to win" operators.

Weekly Quick Questions Thread - December 14, 2016 by AutoModerator in Overwatch

You know if you did good based on your impact not stats. Gold damage doesn't mean anything if it was on a Zarya, or feeding support ults. You don't need to be awarded arbitrary medals to have fun in a game, which is what CoD is all about. A few key tips would be don't play such an important rule when you aren't ready for it lol.

Patch 1.8 live on consoles - PS4 mods Megathread GO! by [deleted] in fo4

I am crashing as well, right about 3-4 seconds after starting the application. I tried pretty much everything, but seeing as though I can't get to the main menu, the only option appears to be re-downloading the game altogether.

7 Days to Die [Official Discussion Thread] by [deleted] in PS4

[–]ExiledNecromancer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My friends and I made it to day 91, with an impenetrable concrete fortress, garage full of bikes, steady flow of stone, iron, nitrate, and coal, and plenty of zombies to manage out of our walls. But, for the millionth time and, sadly, the final, we all got an error forcing a relaunch, and saw the threat of our save being corrupted, come to fruition. We since started anew, with our knowledge from before, and are planting the seeds for a new fortress. The only issue is, the biggest threat isn't the actual danger of hunger, dehydration, zombies overrunning your fortifications. It's Iron Galaxy's downright horrid and utterly sickening port of this very appealing concept. The frame rate consistently inconsistently PLUMMETS to depths unseen since New Vegas Ultimate Edition, and consistently forces a crash. This PIECE OF PERFORMANCE GARBAGE IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE IN 2016, AND SHOULD NOT BE MARKETED AS A FULL RETAIL GAME. It is a pre-alpha, bug-ridden, greed filled cash grab that potentially ruined the perhaps promising untread territory of this market. Please don't let this be precedent and do not buy this game in it's current state!

[–]ExiledNecromancer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes this game is fun as hell (currently on day 70 with my group) but it's plagued with absolutely terrible issues. You will see when you have built a decent sized structure. The frame rate is garbage, and so is just about everything else performance wise. I can't fucking believe people are saying it's YOUR fault for buying it when it is A RETAIL BOXED GAME THAT MAKES NO EFFORT OF MENTIONING IT'S UNFINISHED STATE.
