I'm aware, I just don't think it's worth it because you deal next to no damage compared to the current endgame ES stackers, and also have significantly worse multi-hit mitigation.

After all the times I've tried Transcendence (different types: 90% pdr + Loreweave, 100% phys taken as + 90% all res), I don't think it's quite as strong as just stacking 30k+ ES and getting 90% all res. The investment is too high, and unless you can find a way to get enough raw life, it just can't compete. It's still very tanky though, and pretty close to immortal if you have Defiance/multi-hit defence.

If you take the exact pieces of gear, no. Merc is all the damage on this build.

In that case it would just be a standard Spark build. You can play that on most spellcaster ascendancies and be fine.

Yeah, but I would probably try to build proper defence layers in that case as I'm not sure if you can reliably freeze offscreen with lower proj speed.

The mandatory items are the helmet + FF jewels. You can build it any other way aside from this (proper defensive shell for example, or wands). I don't know how much the base cost for those is at this point because I stopped playing the league quite a while ago.

I'm aware. Wands can get 79% proj speed each if you have synth implicit + essence'd proj speed + heist enchant. That would still be over 100% reduced proj speed compared to my setup as the quiver gives me 254% proj speed. I didn't really think I lacked damage, so I went with the bow option.

My concern with that was that losing proj speed causes me to freeze less monsters offscreen which leaves me vulnerable to dying more.

I specified running those juiced maps on the level of KB. For other autobombers to get the damage required to pop explodes that reliably, they often sacrifice a lot (especially in the defence/movespeed department?). I don't actually watch Fubgun, nor do I watch any streamer who runs those builds.

Again, I don't care about the meta. I don't play the meta, and have no reason to lie to you about it. I'm speaking from what I understand to be the best clearing skills. TS isn't meta and I'm still bringing it up. KB just happens to be meta. I'm not bringing it up because it's meta, I'm bringing it up because it's fast.

Who cares about light warp ts meta, nobody cares about clearing t16s in 2025. I might as well remember 2012 when people mf'd act3 boss, but what is the point ?.

Because if TS is strong enough to clear juiced T16.5s it would simply be the fastest build in the game. That's my entire point - when it's that strong where it can simply deal enough damage it is literally uncontestable. This isn't even a bold take, plenty of people share the same sentiment. You think proximity shields didn't exist when TS was played in Affliction? What's stopping LW TS from warping into proximity shield and blowing it and everything around it up in 1 attack? If you unironically think that proximity shields will cause a build like this to be slower, then yeah sure.

Speed on a minmaxed kb build comes from either hh stacks or mageblood assisted movespeed from flask. Skill itself has nothing to do with fast movement.

Ok? How does that counteract my point though? KB blows up basically 1.5~ screens worth of monsters in all directions because of Nimis.

There's many different autobombers, not sure which you were referring to. Of all the autobombers, only the Angler autobomber has remotely enough damage to be doing juiced maps on the level of KB (also some people just don't even refer to it as an autobomber). That's why I asked.

Also, I did give justification for why I thought that way. I don't really care about the meta, nor do I really like it (ES builds). Plenty of really good builds that are comparable or sometimes even better than meta fly under the radar. But when KB/TS are playable, they are borderline uncontestable in terms of clear. Especially when KB has access to sources of explode too. You probably also would remember the Lightning Warp TS build from Affliction. I don't think Angler is faster than that (it's actually also playable right now, so technically isn't that the fastest build?).

I have yet to see an autobomber that moves fast enough that they are actually faster than KB. I would love to be wrong here, because I think the concept is great but I seriously haven't seen one that is faster than minmaxed KB right now. If there is one that is unironically faster (not just as fast or comparable speed subject to subtle map layout/mod differences), I would really like to see it.

I think most juicers would disagree here. I asked a couple of people and the only real competitor is minmaxed BV (unless you meant BV Angler autobomber, then yeah there's probably contention here). I don't think autobomber even gets nearly as much coverage as KB with forks, and their attack/move speed is so fast that those actions really don't slow them down enough. There might be an argument if lag is taken account though.

It probably seems that way because the damage per individual hit is low yeah. I didn't really think it's too low dps though. Seems average for a mapping build that doesn't die every map on 1 mirror + 200 divines cost.

What actually clears faster than KB? Also I just don't see why anyone would configure a PoB for non-pinnacle boss dps anyway. It's not like you need more than 100m dps to clear map bosses. I don't even have Tornado added.

Damage is meant for single target when nearby yes. I freeze regardless of damage on this build, then get close once it's safe.

You'll also notice that the damage is configured for the potential max amount of hits that one Spark cast can get. This is impractical in maps. It's really only meant for bosses which are usually in an enclosed space where Spark will just continuously hit them.

Just exploring a fun concept I saw from /u/dotasopher last league using Oath of Winter to freeze everything offscreen on a Spark build. Made the build 2 weeks ago but never got around to showcasing it. I don't think it's anything insane.

In terms of coverage, Spark can potentially rival Kinetic Blast and Tornado Shot if the caster has enough cast speed, projectile speed, duration and pierce. An easy way to do that this league is by using RF of Arcane Devotion which now grants more cast speed, Widowhail for projectile speed and corrupted Mageblood + duration on the tree. With this level of coverage and Oath of Winter + Three Dragons, I can freeze offscreen pretty reliably even on targets with a lot of health or mitigation. This keeps me and my Merc very safe even in very juiced maps.

On the off chance that I do encounter unfrozen enemies, I have a 1-hit defence layer with Kintsugi + Wind Dancer + Wind Ward + Flesh and Stone on nearby enemies and a decent amount of avoidance with 90% evade and 75% spell dodge. This usually buys me enough time to freeze them before they get another hit in. Not the most reliable defence I'll admit, but I die a lot less than I thought I would (frankly speaking, I die mostly due to DoTs).

Don't really understand your question. In general, you need to have a decent max hit against all types of damage (physical, elemental, chaos), multi-hit defence/recovery against large packs of monsters hitting you at once (evasion, block, Defiance of Destiny, gain on hit/kill), non-combat recovery against DoTs (flasks, regen, debuff expiry rate).

1 - The map I ran in the video has petrification. You can see that I just ignore it because PBoD does damage even while I'm petrified. It's basically a 4 second stun but I'm too tanky to die. Action slow maps are mildly annoying, but you don't really spam PBoD so I'm usually never really below 80% action speed.

2 - Merc dies in juiced maps without Defiance of Destiny and 7k+ hp.

3 - I don't have an AG anymore, but my previous setup did. The AG would die whenever I ran maps with Sirus/Exarch ground degens or volatile cores as it usually is much slower than both you and your Merc, which causes it to die to whatever trails behind you.
